I stayed at the Wyndham Xi'an Chanba for a friend's engagement, and the experience was absolutely amazing! As a light sleeper with extremely high expectations for a comfortable sleep environment, the quietness here exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located right next to a park, with lush greenery outside the window. At night, I could hardly hear any outside noise, and the silent air conditioner was completely invisible. I was able to relax and fall asleep quickly after lying down, without any sense of unfamiliarity. The room details were even more amazing. The soft bedding and the warm lighting created a particularly cozy atmosphere. The cleanliness was impeccable, with no dead spots on the desk or in the bathroom. The toiletries were high-quality, and the separate wet and dry bathrooms were a thoughtful touch. The public areas were also exceptionally well-designed. The high-ceiling lobby with large floor-to-ceiling windows let in a comfortable amount of sunlight. The greenery and water features were stylishly arranged throughout, making the festive atmosphere of the engagement even more heartwarming. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodation, especially light sleepers or those traveling for important events. You won't be disappointed!

I checked in at 5pm and immediately noticed a strong, pungent smell in the room, as if it had just been renovated. Seeing the walls covered in wood veneer and soft bags, it looked newly renovated, but I could clearly feel that the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) exceeded the standard. I was in a hurry to go out for dinner, so I asked customer service if they could arrange an air purifier before I left. They agreed, and I even opened the window a little bit before I left. When I came back at 12pm, I found that they hadn't provided an air purifier, so I thought it was too late to go to bed. I even turned on the air conditioner and the windows, but closed the curtains to sleep. However, several times when I was about to fall asleep, a stronger, pungent smell woke me up. I couldn't open the curtains to sleep for better ventilation. I tossed and turned all night and slept for less than 4 hours. I woke up with a splitting headache in the morning and felt like I was poisoned. This is the five-star hotel with the worst decoration and the worst physical experience that I have encountered in the country over the years. I don't know how Ctrip gave it a 4.8 point rating. Is it because it can't be brushed out?
