XI’AN DAJING CASTLE HOTEL

Second time here! I always stay at this hotel for business trips. The location is excellent, very close to tourist attractions, and the room is clean.

The hotel staff were really friendly and the location is great for visiting the Bell Tower and City Walls. However, the in-room facilities are quite old and could definitely use an upgrade.

A truly satisfying experience! Even though it's an older hotel, the design still exudes an elegant charm. The room amenities were complete, and cleanliness was excellent. In the evenings, there was a piano performance in the lobby, which instantly made me feel relaxed upon entering.

First of all, thank you for the free upgrade to a city view room. However, Xi'an is no longer restricting motorcycles, and the noise from them between 1 and 2 AM was so loud that even I, someone who usually falls asleep the moment my head hits the pillow, couldn't sleep. Luckily, my husband brought his own earplugs, which helped a bit. If you're a light sleeper, avoid rooms facing the street. You can hear children's voices clearly from around 7 AM, probably due to the building's structure, which makes the sound quite noticeable. **Facilities:** Although it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained. The only thing is you have to shower standing in the bathtub, and the tub itself is quite low. I don't think it's meant for bathing; it seems more like it was added to prevent water from spilling out when showering, making it hard to use the toilet. **Hygiene:** Decent. **Environment:** The hotel is right outside Yongningmen subway station, and it's just a short walk to SKP and Hopson One. The location is very convenient. **Service:** Very good. **Other:** I specifically chose this hotel for its design; I think it's really unique and looks great for photos.

The service was good, and the breakfast was nice. However, the facilities are quite old. The location is decent as well. For just over 400 RMB during the Qingming Festival, I think it's a fair price. It's an old hotel, seems like it's from around '94.

Traveling to Xi'an, I chose to stay at this hotel near Yongning Gate. The location is excellent, close to the subway for easy access, and surrounded by bustling commercial areas with great food just a few steps away. At night, climbing the city wall to admire the lanterns and overlook the city lights was absolutely stunning.

The five-star hotel looked nice from the outside, and I chose a room with a view of Yongning Gate. However, the room was old and smelled like a sewer when I opened the door. They came to fix the floor drain after I complained, but the room still stank. The nightstand was so small it could only fit a large lamp, leaving no space for anything else, and there was only one power outlet, which was inconvenient for two people. The most unbelievable thing was that the bedding was dirty with black specks, and when I pulled back the duvet, I found a thick, black hair on the bedsheet at the foot of the bed! Poor management!

Stepping into the hotel, I was immediately captivated by the architectural style of the lobby. The atrium design and circular corridors truly live up to its reputation of winning the China Construction Luban Award. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the service was excellent and thoughtful; they even gave me recommendations for local eateries. The location is super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be back next time!

I requested a room with a street and city view, and the front desk delivered – the view outside my window was fantastic. The service was warm and attentive too, right from the moment I got out of the car; the security and service staff helped with my luggage, and everyone at the front desk and other staff were wonderful. The location is absolutely superb, offering a view of the city gate, with a subway station right at the entrance. SKP and several other shopping malls are right next door. The location is just unbeatable! What I really want to rave about is the breakfast 'Rou Jia Mo' (Chinese burger) – it was incredibly delicious! 👍👍 Warm and much better than what you'd find at outside shops! The steamed dates were also very tasty 👍 I even wanted to buy some after I got back, but they don't sell them for delivery to other cities, which is a bit of a shame. The freshly ground coffee ☕️ from the machine was also good 👍 Overall, the breakfast was excellent ~
