## Location
Excellent location! The hotel is directly opposite Exit A of Changlemen Metro Station, which was one of the main reasons we chose it. It's incredibly convenient for visiting major attractions like the Bell Tower and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
## Facilities
The room was very spacious, and the bed was huge. It comfortably accommodated one adult and two primary school children. We were very satisfied with the comfort level.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and answered all our questions, though she could have smiled a bit more. However, the gentleman who assisted us when checking out on our last day was very enthusiastic and warm.
## Areas for Improvement
The hotel's airport pick-up service is outsourced to a travel agency, and the vehicles don't exclusively transport hotel guests. This meant our originally 50-minute journey from the airport to the hotel took a full two hours due to dropping off other passengers, which was a very disappointing experience. The airport drop-off service is also charged (30 RMB per person) and similarly outsourced. For a group of three, I'd strongly recommend taking a taxi yourself; it costs about 95 RMB, ensures you're on time, and you won't have to share the ride.
During peak breakfast hours, there was often a long wait for cups. Additionally, when cleaning table mats, staff would only pick up food scraps and give them a quick wipe with a cloth. If you're particular about cleanliness, you might want to wipe it again with your own tissue.

I went to Xijing Hospital for a checkup and booked the room. The room was old and the carpet smelled, but they prepared milk and bread, which was very considerate. I booked for two nights. The first night, the room was opened to the elevator entrance. It was on a low floor. There was a platform outside the window. There were a lot of sundries, poor light, dampness, and mosquitoes. I felt super unsafe living alone. I didn't sleep much that night. I was still very scared after listening to the elevator noise all night. I got up early the next morning to change rooms. The front desk was very good. I only had three requirements: good lighting, high floor (for safety), and far away from the elevator entrance. This time they gave me a good room and I lived very comfortably. Unfortunately, I wanted to drink milk in the morning, but there was none in this room. I asked the room sir for it and she said there was none. I said I had drunk it yesterday, and she said there was none anyway. I didn't dare to ask any more. I don't know what the situation is. It's not a matter of how much money you have, but two different environments in two days makes people very depressed.

The service at Barcelo Hotel is excellent. Entering the hotel is like entering your own home. The front desk staff Xiao Zhang is very polite. The housekeeper serves tea and water. Tissues and other items that may be needed are placed next to the front desk in the lobby. Mineral water is placed everywhere for guests to drink at will. This is a rare service in domestic five-star hotels. It really treats guests like family members... The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel makes exquisite and delicious morning tea. The restaurant has strong business capabilities and considers customers. When you come here to eat, you can enjoy delicious food and bathe in friendly warmth. The hotel also has a drop-off service, and you can also call a taxi.

The room was spotless, the sheets were neatly made, not a wrinkle at the corners, and the attention to detail radiated the meticulous attention to detail of a professional hotel. The most surprising thing was the TV in the room! It connected to my phone and instantly projected the screen, with superb color reproduction. Lying in bed at night, I was greeted with complimentary water upon check-out. Not only could I hear the conversations in the hallway, but even the TV in the next room couldn't be heard. The windows were double-glazed, so even facing the street, I wasn't bothered by traffic noise. The curtains were made of thick velvet, and I slept soundly in the morning, completely uninterrupted by light or sound. Deep sleepers would call it a lifesaver! From the cleanliness to the amenities and every detail, I couldn't fault it.
