This is a comfortable family guesthouse. The owner upgraded me to a private room instead of a dorm since it wasn't busy and he was very helpful in recommending places to visit and how to get there. Most importantly there was no problem checking in as a foreigner. The location was a little hard to find the first time (Baidu Maps locations are not very exact in Xiahe) but it's just a short walk from the Labrang Monastery.

Although it is a public bathroom, it is very hygienic. The boss will try to arrange separate accommodation for the passengers in the multi-person room. I also helped to worry about transportation, carrying luggage, etc. It was really thoughtful. When I arrived that day, I learned that I hadn't eaten. The lady boss prepared noodles and Hanamaki for me, and invited me to dinner. There are a few long-lived friends here who all come to participate in the temple activities, and they are also very enthusiastic and polite. Living in such a place is very comfortable.
