And this is the case for two consecutive nights, which seriously affects sleep and mood. I just wonder why the hotel can let so many idle people into the room?     Our experience was alright. Location is perfect. Within walking distance from the monastery. The staff doesn't speak English but that's fine, as long as you don't expect it. They do not accept (for Europeans) regular creditcards so bringing sufficient cash is advised. The rooms are alright, though very very noisy. We were initially staying in a King room, but we could hear the guest in the next room when he turned on his tv but more disturbing was the elevator bing. Every single time and every floor. Being located next to the elevator meant we couldn't sleep. So.... we changed our room. Staff was very helpful and we were able to sleep well. Great view, location is perfect. Housekeeping only changes the sheets of the bed and replaces the amenities. That is it. So it is not really clean and neat. Two restaurants which is fine. Food is fine too.
