Great hotel and the service is really good from the start. Most of the staff can speak English and they put a lot of effort to ensure that my stay was comfortable so thank you. Breakfast was great the staff were very attentive and the manager greeted all the guest and checked if they had a nice stay. I would of liked to have a welcome drink like a bottle of water just at reception but that’s the only negative.

There is a subway nearby, but travel time is basically off-peak, so there is no impact. It’s a pity that the most beautiful section of the coastal road is where you’re riding a bicycle. The toilet is a bit narrow, but the smart toilet is very good. The bathroom faucet itself was poorly designed, and the button was turned upside down. I almost poured cold water when I opened it. Fortunately, I took precautions in advance when I saw this kind of faucet. The shower door opened awkwardly and wouldn't close tightly. This room type is quite good, with large floor-to-ceiling windows. On the 6th floor, you can see part of the sea view. Breakfast is also rich. Other services are still online. Also, the bed was very comfortable, but I was in a hurry and forgot to ask about the mattress brand.

To me the hotel seemed like a really pleasant and quiet place, I didn't hear any noise at night. The room was very clean, a good mattress and pillows. The beach is around a 10 minutes walk away. The pool is good but there are no sunchairs which was a disappointment because I planned to sunbathe near it. Breakfast was not bad with many options to choose from (mostly Chinese food but there was pastry, fruit and vegetables, baguette, bacon, German sausages and fried eggs).

Super five-star praise. When I came to Gulangyu Island, I wanted to experience a different hotel, so I chose Lin's Mansion. It was perfect! The butler has a pick-up service at the port, otherwise it would be too tiring to drag the luggage. The hotel was renovated from Lin's old house. It is in the style of the Republic of China, low-key and luxurious. The balcony faces the garden, which reminds me of many romantic dramas of the Republic of China. And only hotel guests can enter here. It is relatively quiet and not as noisy as other places in Gulangyu Island. The service is also very good. I felt there were many mosquitoes at night, so the front desk immediately brought toilet water and an electric mosquito swatter. By the way, there is also a free cheongsam photo-taking service here. The cheongsam is a free set. It is very clean and will be sent to dry cleaning after every customer uses it. The style is also beautiful. It's a pity that I only stayed for one day. I will stay here next time I come to Gulangyu Island.

The room decoration is very new. It is the closest to the south gate of Xiamen University. It is a long way to go by the wrong door. The campus is full of small children. The visual inspection has not yet gone to school. I want to say that visiting Xiamen University can understand the parents' expectations? Parents are not paying attention too early. 優點：地點靠近貓街，下樓二三分鐘就到，吃飯方便，離沙坡尾步行12分鐘左右，到廈大南門的白城沙灘步行20多分鐘，去廈大訪客中心入口步行十分鐘左右，去南普陀寺步行不到十分鐘！其他景點打車10-20元，公交車也很多。 缺點：假期人多，酒店在交通管制範圍內，想要打車的話得步行到附近的社區居委會那，步行五六分鐘拿着行李箱不方便。而且從十點開始到晚上十點基本都很堵車！ 酒店是老酒店，設施能看出來舊，淋浴間地漏得拿起來；坐便器壓水也不太靈敏，床單和被罩感覺沒洗透很陳舊，服務還可以。 廈門人很熱情，各飯館超市服務員景點的人服務態度都很好，讓旅遊很愉悦，唯一例外的就是樓下對面的妙香扁食（廈門連鎖品牌），早上去他家吃飯，服務員好像欠她錢一樣的態度，我們三口人點了三碗湯麪二屜餃子，麪餐盒單獨收費，吃餃子的小碟小的衹能裝一塊紅方那麼小，我老公就拿了二個小菜碟，結果像祥林嫂一樣嘟嘟囔囔一直指責我們，開門迎客，我們不是買氣去的，簡直不要太氣人了！ 貓街裏的那家水果店很不錯，出酒店右拐直道頭那家四果湯最好，何記沙茶麪很好，老闆也很好。

It was upgraded to the 36th floor. The view is really good. It is facing Gulangyu Island. It looks good during the day and at night. The downstairs is Shapowei. It is also very convenient to eat. It takes only five minutes to walk to Xiamen University. The facilities in the room are complete and relatively new. The only drawback is the lack of things to hang clothes, especially the lack of hooks in the bathroom.

I thought about changing the room the next day. The result was better in the morning 3⃣️ Poor sound insulation (but understandable, after all, hotels in this area are almost like this), but our room is located on the top of Xinhuadu Shopping Mall. There are many children in the store on the first floor of the mall chasing and playing at ten o'clock in the evening. It's really noisy (Fortunately, I slept late, It was quiet after 12 o'clock.
