Fantastic views: Located on a high floor (usually 50+) of Xiamen's landmark Shimao Twin Towers, the hotel offers direct, unobstructed views of Gulangyu Island. Convenient location: Downstairs is Shapowei, and it's within walking distance to Xiamen University and Baicheng Beach. There are plenty of great food options nearby, and transportation is convenient. Great value for money: You get to stay in a landmark building with high-altitude sea views at the price of an economy hotel, which is especially good value during the off-season.

Honestly, during the off-season, for a room type like this at just over 150 (CNY), staying on the 60th floor is incredibly good value for money. The room itself is quite spacious. I actually booked this place after reading a review, and honestly, I think it's perfectly fine. I dislike situations where customers are clearly in the wrong or leave bad reviews unfairly, and then the boss blames and scolds the staff. I don't like that. So, sometimes when guests are being unreasonable or trying to take advantage, whether it's a staff member or the owner responding, I think it's perfectly acceptable. A spade is a spade.

Amenities: Has everything you need, disposable bath towels, kitchen, fridge, hairdryer. Cleanliness: Could be improved. Environment: Sea view, a mall right downstairs, convenient for food and drinks. Shapowei is just a few minutes away. Service: Decent.

I was here for a business trip. The room was great value, clean, and well-organized. The staff member (little brother) was very helpful and the service was excellent. The night view was absolutely stunning, overlooking the entire Gulangyu Island.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Our room was on a high floor, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island. We also got to enjoy the romantic sunset, and the scenery was just breathtaking – every photo we took turned out amazing. The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking in hot water after a busy day of sightseeing, instantly melting away all the fatigue. The hotel's location is also excellent; we could walk to all the nearby attractions, making getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, it offered great value for money. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip.

Facilities: Pretty comprehensive, there's a fridge and a washing machine. However, there was someone else's clothes inside the washing machine. The door was locked, but then it just opened by itself while we were sitting in the room, which really confused us. Cleanliness: There was even a huge bug, good thing none of us are scared of bugs. Environment: Right outside is Yanwu Bridge, so the view is nice. Service: They didn't contact us about check-in beforehand. We had to register our faces ourselves at the entrance and then call to ask which floor our room was on.

This guesthouse is perfectly situated on Huandao Road, one of Xiamen's best tourist areas. It offers panoramic views of Gulangyu Island and Xiamen University's Baicheng Beach, with all sea-view rooms. The night view is mesmerizing, and by day, it feels like you're flying above Xiamen with clouds at your feet. The service is warm and attentive, especially friendly to cat lovers. Step downstairs, and you're right on Shapowei Pedestrian Street, which is fantastic! The street is packed with incredibly good value Xiamen specialty foods, a feast for both the eyes and the stomach. This place offers exceptional value for money.
