Weike Youth Hostel (Xiamen Railway Station)

The hostel was not great. I walk back and forth before finding the place. It seems like they don't care at all there. Everything was outdated. They have old toilets like in the stone age. Nothing is really finished just half done. The kitchen was so greasy I would not want to cook there. The ladies bathroom, they just left the used toilet paper near the washing sink that was also dirty. The only thing there was the reception at night he was trying to help me but did not speak any English. They should really upgrade the place or at least finish things there then it would be fair for the paid price. Also please put toilet paper in the toilets instead of getting it all the way at the reception.

terrible, night before AC was turned on at 10pm, this night it was on by 8-9pm, however at 26C temperature, i repeatedly asked this teenager from front desk to lower AC temp, he ignored my request, at 10pm i asked the cleaning lady to lower, it was lowered for a few seconds then raised back immediately to 26C, making this a really uncomfortable night sleep...dont support this business, yes, its a cheap hostel but at least from 10-8am lower AC to 22C and leave it there, dont raise it up again. Very close to xiamen railway station. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping malls around the hostel.The room was nice and comfortable. I recommend those who want to stay with the cheapest price should book this hostel.

Very decent place to stay in! Near the train station and just 1 direct bus away from the city centre. Would definitely come back if I am on a solo trip.

Clean. Nice staff. Wonderful washing area with multiple machines and an outside drying area. No soap in the bathroom at times, though.
