Reviews of Tongheshun Hotel (Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street)

Lobby is second floor and there is no lift, you have to press the bell at ground lever and the counter lady will come down n carry for you. Kudos to the girls. Room is slightly small but switching on the lights, aircon, television can be done be voice control. Quite fun.

A bit confusing to find at first beacuse the entrance is located in the small alley. But the room itself is quite good, a bit small but still enough for short stay. Bathroom is nice, strong water pressure.. The bright side is the location. It is very near to Zongzhan pedestrian street and everything else.

Only complaint is lift doesn’t operate from ground floor. With 5 luggages it is a difficult task to carry them up to the lobby through narrow staircase.

This hotel is located nearby Zhongshan road pedestrian street (＜1 min walk). Bus or taxi stop is in front of the hotel. Zhenhai road Metro station (exit 3A) is about 10mins walk (the path is mostly covered so a comfortable walk). If you’re heading to the Overseas Chinese Museum or Nanputuo temple or Xiamen University, then board a bus at the bus stop near the Metro station. The hotel staff is hospitable and they are informative and helpful. I asked the staff to recommend local food and got really good recommendations. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Hotel did provide laundry service with free detergent but only 2 washing machine so need to wait very long as each wash plus dry cycle may take at least 1.5hours. However, information about the hotel and room on trip.com is erroneous. First, the name of the hotel is pronounced as Tong he shun but it’s displayed as Yiheshun. As the hotel’s entrance is at a side alley, it’s very easy to miss it. Second, I booked a room with ‘landmark view’ but got a room with no window. It’s different from the description shown on trip.com as shown on the attached photo. I ended up paying more to upgrade to a slightly bigger room with windows as I stayed a few nights.

Very nice hotel, it is in the center of Zhongshan Road. Very polite staff members. We will be back when we travel to Xiamen again

A very good stay. The 2 ladies at the reception counter provided super service. Love them. Always there ready to help with very cheerful attitude. Must treasure good staff. The location is very convenient. Just walk. We are happy with the room. Best part is the toilet is heated. Will stay again.

Room is right in the middle of Zhongshan road and there is a bus stop right downstairs that leads to many attraction. Room is also clean and big for two.

The location is extremely good as it is just beside the famous shopping street. However there are many stair steps to maneuver to reach your hotel room, may not be too convenient to elderly customers. Otherwise everything is excellent.

Very good

Overall a cosy and clean hotel conveniently located along Zhongshan Pedestrian street. Many food and shopping options, nearest mrt is less than 10 mins walk away and easy to take cab/didi at hotel. Not forgetting to mention the excellent lobby service kudos to Ms Liang and Ms Ma, we felt welcomed and warm. 总的来说，这是一间舒适又干净的酒店。地点适中，就在中山路步行街那里。食物和逛街种类挺多的，地铁站步行距离不到10分钟，酒店外搭德士/滴滴也方便。值得一提的是酒店柜台梁小姐和马小姐的优质服务，让我们觉得很暖心。

I am very happy with the family room which is very nice, comfortable and has a landmark city view. The location is good. It is very near Zhong Shan Lu (buxungjie). The toilet bowl is the one which has the functions of warming, cleaning and auto flashing. I am impressed by the "smart housekeeper", in the form of a small cylinder,. I verbally gave instructions to it and it would execute your instructions. It can also chatted with you. It is amazing. At my floor, there was a small but very nice garden. . If the hotel can help customers to buy ferry tickets, it would be excellent. Currently, non- PRC residents are unable to buy ferry tickets online.
