Amazing location, very kind and helpful service and they gave me a free room upgrade because there were a lot of free rooms. Very clean, a lot of facilities. Only thing that bed is a little bit hard because mattress is thin. Recommend!

This homestay is actually like a guesthouse or inn. The facilities were better than what I had expected based on the name "homestay". There were towels, hairdryer, slippers, hot n cod water dispenser and a spacious laundry area where the sun comes in. Only drawback was there's no lift so if you are a senior citizen like me it's best to stay on level 1 or ground floor.
I was very glad to have 100 degrees hot water to make my my own coffee and other cereal drinks.

The location was excellent, right in the heart of Ba Shi. The room was clean and all the necessary amenities were available. Service was good too. Very value-for-money 👍

Fantastic location. Easy to find. Comfortable environment. Owner is friendly. Checkin was fast. Room is good. Aircon works. Room is clean. Bed is a little hard. Overall good experience.

You should stay here if you have a chance. Xiao Chen and his elder brother were very helpful in every sense of the word in particular Xiao Chen. Treated us like his relations, showed us where to go, booked taxis for us so that we don't get charged exorbitant rates, even helped us with our luggage to move to the next hotel. Really down to earth guy. Young and friendly and goes all the way to help us with whatever we need. Whatever you need he is there to attend to you. The homestay facilities are really good. Rooms are of decent size and not small. Very secure place. Love this place. Will stay here when we come again. Though not so central it is walkable and food nearby are relatively cheap. Ask for their recommendations where to go or eat. Thanks Xiao Chen and brother.

Great location ! Just right next to Bayi Market and 15 mins walk to Zhongshan Lu. On our last day, we could leave our luggage and continue with our food hunt nearby before heading to Xiamen airport. The taxi trip to Xiamen Airport took around 30 mins on Friday 5 pm. Super convenient.
Room size is just nice for 2 pax and 2 luggage. All the basic amenities are provided. There are additional at the lobby if needed. We appreciate having free water dispenser at the lobby as well as the use of fridge to store our food.
I wanted to get some local taro fishballs and "ban cheng kueh" home but couldn't decide on which stall as there were so many nearby! So I asked minshu owner for recommendations and everyone loved it back home. Thank you.
I made this booking in English via trip.com. Didn't receive notifications sent out by minshu owner before my trip. I wouldn't be able to read it anyway. No biggie as we managed to locate the minshu easily based on Baidu map.
