Xiamen Mountain Story Mountain Sea Resort Intelligent Hotel (round the Island Road Hotel)

The room was spotless, and getting takeout or heading out was super convenient, as everything was close by. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the ladies at the front desk who were all very polite. Highly recommend!

This is the dirtiest place I've ever stayed in all my travels! Just look at the pictures of the areas around the bed, the headboard, the sofa, and the corners. The 'afternoon tea' was a joke (I've never seen anything like it – are two snacks considered afternoon tea?!). And they're asking for 5-star reviews based on normal service, which is ridiculous. They even kept calling and texting, harassing us, clearly afraid we'd leave an honest bad review.

I stayed in Xiamen for four years and then left. After I came back, I was most surprised and surprised by the B&B. I pay great attention to cost-effectiveness. The experience of Shanye Story is far beyond the standard. 😂 After staying in small B&Bs all over Fujian, I can really tell at a glance that the high-scoring and high-star B&Bs whose actual experience is completely inconsistent with the promotional pictures. Although Shanye Story has only three diamonds on Ctrip, the tone of the B&B can be seen at a glance that it is completely different from the above-mentioned Internet celebrity B&Bs. The environmental design, lighting use and odor management are all very well done. The room I ordered is a hidden room, with a great view from the floor-to-ceiling window, and you can also see cats. In addition to the excellent B&B itself, its geographical location is extremely superior. The Rainbow Road in Figure 1, walk up for less than 2 minutes to connect to the Mountain and Sea Trail, and you can walk to the Pangui Tower (Figure 3456) within 10 minutes. Walk down for about 10 minutes to the tower head beach, and you can walk directly along the beach corridor bridge to the Coconut Wind Village to play the moon slope area. The value of watching the sea from Pangui Tower is beyond words. It is the most essential part of the entire Shanhai Trail, with 270 meters of unobstructed sea views. However, the transportation to Pangui Tower is very inconvenient. The nearest taxi is to Wanshi Canghai/Shanhai Trail D7 Exit, which is at least 20 minutes away from Pangui Tower. Living in a homestay means that you can watch the sunrise or sunset at any time in the morning, or go to the tower to enjoy the sea breeze and the moon in the early morning (this section is not closed at night, and the trail atmosphere lights are on until 5:12 in the morning) Finally, the service. The front desk sister is very gentle and responsive. The most impressive thing is that when it rained and I went to the beach and got soaked, I asked if I could dry my clothes, and she helped me wash and dry them. I stayed here for a total of two days, and stayed in Yuehua for one day later. To be honest, it was not as comfortable as this.

The room is very clean and tidy, with a large space and floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy the mountain view. It is very suitable for family or couples to travel. The room I booked also comes with afternoon tea, and I dine in the hotel's own courtyard, which is very comfortable and cozy 😌

A hotel that I have to praise, it is the first choice for vacation and leisure, the cost performance is super high, the room design and facilities are very comfortable, the surrounding environment is super beautiful, the service attitude of the front desk lady is very good and considerate, and she helped to arrange room upgrades, it is absolutely worth it
