Seaview Resort Xiamen

I spent the whole day at the hotel, enjoying the quiet and beautiful atmosphere. However, it's not always easy to find peace and quiet at Haiyue Villa, haha, because it's full of families with kids. You'll find children of all ages, from babies in arms to preschoolers in strollers and elementary school kids running around. Teenagers might find it a bit boring. When I was planning, I debated for a long time because some reviews mentioned it was an older hotel, about ten years old. But honestly, I found it perfectly acceptable. The overall decor isn't super luxurious; the sofa and carpet patterns might be a bit old-fashioned, and it's not very high-tech, but the overall comfort was good, and my daughter loved it here. The hotel is right next to Huangcuo Beach, just across the road. As soon as you enter the grounds, you feel instantly relaxed – full vacation mode! It's a huge property, lush with green trees, like a whole resort area itself. It's divided into the Main Building, Water Garden, and Mountain Villa, with prices increasing accordingly. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room on the 4th floor and got a free upgrade on arrival to a Nalong (Milk Dragon) themed full sea view room on the 5th floor. The view was even more expansive, overlooking the pool, green trees, the ocean, and ships – absolutely beautiful, comparable to Sanya. The room was spacious, 46 square meters, with a round bathtub on the balcony where you could soak while enjoying the sea view. That experience was absolutely amazing. The Nalong theme was everywhere! There were Nalong duvet covers, two adorable Nalong plushies and throw pillows on the bed, a Nalong mat on the floor, and Nalong murals on the walls. Most importantly, there was a sizable Nalong tent, which kids would surely love. I have to rave about the swimming pools. In the main building area, we visited the outdoor infinity pool and several other pools downstairs from the guest rooms. Not only were the pool views stunning, but they were also quite clean, and there were plenty of lifeguards. Swim rings and kickboards were provided free of charge, and there were also some paid activities to choose from. Through the pool area, there's a small gate that you can open with your room card. After walking through an underpass, you arrive at Huangcuo Beach. Swimming doesn't seem to be allowed, but everyone was wading and playing in the water. Even though it's a public beach, it wasn't crowded. The sand was quite fine, and the waves weren't too big, though there were occasional bits of floating trash. The breakfast buffet was good, but it was incredibly crowded and noisy. If you went later, you'd have to queue. They offered a variety of Southern Fujian (Minan) snacks, and the Satay noodles, Mianxian paste, Guo Bian Hu (pot-side paste), and Peanut Soup were all delicious 😋 The fried dough sticks, pudding, and oatmeal bowls were also very tasty 😋 Oh, by the way, our butler, Xiao Bin, provided excellent service! He helped me book dinner reservations and even arranged a two-hour late check-out! Highly recommended!

The wonderful housekeeper upgraded our room for free. The mountain view room was beautiful, and the kids loved the children's playground. The beach was only a 5-minute walk away, and the resort grounds were also fantastic. We'll definitely choose Haiyue Villa again next time we visit Xiamen.

The environment here is absolutely incredible! The entire hotel boasts a 1500-mu (approximately 247-acre) garden. The shuttle takes over ten minutes just to circle it once. It's a sanctuary of birdsong and fragrant flowers, a perfect place to cleanse your lungs. Behind the main building, there's an infinity pool, and even a shallow pool for little ones. Just cross the underpass from the hotel and you're right at the ocean!

The hotel is a bit old, but other than that, everything else was very satisfying. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach, and the hotel even provided sand toys. There are plenty of facilities for children to play with, and the hotel itself is like a beautiful garden with a wonderful environment. There were even squirrels, which made the kids very happy!

The Xiamen Hues Hotel & Resort offers a fantastic vacation experience! It boasts its own fun water park with slides and water play facilities, keeping the kids thoroughly entertained. The infinity pool offers expansive views and is perfect for stunning photos. The hotel also provides direct access to the beach, allowing guests to enjoy the waves and dig in the sand anytime. The extensive garden landscape is serene and peaceful. This one-stop destination for family water fun means no constant moving between locations, making for a very comfortable stay and an ideal choice for a relaxing beach vacation with children.

This was my second stay at the Seaview Resort. The Garden Poolside Room is fantastic – you can get to the pool from the balcony in literally a minute. My child also loved the 'Plant Scavenger Hunt' where you get a small prize for finding 9 different plants.

We stayed in the villa area, and the facilities were decent, not too old-fashioned. The toilet was automatic, and there was a bathtub with a wet/dry separation. However, the TV couldn't cast, and there were limited animated shows available on demand. The villa area is quite far from the main building where the lobby is located. You can only get there by golf cart, which isn't very convenient. But the golf carts were basically on-call and arrived quickly. On the bright side, the kids loved riding them. For convenience, it's probably better to stay in the main building. The hotel provided a brand new sand toy set, the children's toiletries were from Daikexi, and the adult toiletries were from Atelier Cologne, which was a nice touch! Overall, I would book here again next time. Our three-year-old had a great time on her first long trip!

This time, bringing my child to the Hyatt Regency was an amazing experience! The hotel gardens are like a huge park, with lush trees and incredibly fresh air. My little one absolutely loved playing by the pool, and that small wooden bridge was perfect for photos ✨. The sea in the distance offered expansive views, which was so relaxing to look at. Although the large resort meant a bit of walking, the environment was truly impeccable and ideal for a family vacation 👍.

This was my second visit to the Le Meridien Xiamen, and from the moment I booked, the wonderful butler, Miaomiao, was incredibly thoughtful, asking about my check-in time, hotel preferences, and more. In such hot weather, there's nothing better than enjoying the hotel's beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was superb!
