Andaz Xiamen

Exceeded my expectations, I'll definitely choose Andaz again next time! The location is superb, right in the city center of the island, making it super convenient for subways and taxis. Everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping is right there, so you don't waste time commuting – perfect for lazy travelers. The service from check-in to check-out was impeccable; all the staff were enthusiastic and thoughtful, especially Claire, who was professional and meticulous throughout. We opted to dine at the hotel for dinner; the Peking duck needs to be pre-ordered, as it's roasted fresh in an open oven, and it's definitely worth trying. The hotel itself perfectly blends Nanyang retro charm with modern chic. Every photo you take looks like a high-quality shot, and my friend and I could easily spend a whole day here without going out, especially to avoid the sun. They even had handicraft activities during the summer; I hope to experience them next time!

📍Andaz Xiamen | Family Room My husband and I stayed at the Andaz Xiamen in 2021 or 2022, shortly after it opened, and it was quite new and we were very satisfied with our stay. This time, traveling with our baby, we chose a family room, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel's service details were spot-on, and the hotel exudes a full Nanyang retro vibe, with photo opportunities everywhere. It's perfect for taking pictures. The most pleasant surprise was the travel photography service included with our stay. The photographer was very patient and proactively guided our poses, avoiding stiff, forced shots and excelling at capturing a relaxed, natural feel. There was a rich selection of shooting locations, and the original photos had great quality. When we stayed before, this photography service wasn't available, but now it seems most hotels nationwide offer something similar, which is quite convenient. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and the taste was superb. Breakfast here is much better than at the Hyatt Centric Xiamen, several tiers above! If you're looking to effortlessly get great vacation photos in Xiamen, I highly recommend the Andaz Xiamen.

Andaz Xiamen is truly a hidden gem in the city, showcasing beautiful Nanyang-style aesthetics everywhere you look – from the patterned tiles and rattan furniture to the carpets and interplay of light and shadow, every step reveals a new scenic view. The location is excellent, right above MixC Mall, making getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the service is warm and attentive. The breakfast features authentic Southern Fujian flavor with its satay noodles. The outdoor pool creates a perfect resort vibe, making it an ideal choice for relaxing and unwinding in the heart of the bustling city.

Staying at the Andaz Xiamen was a fantastic experience, and I have to give a special shout-out to Felix at the front desk. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and efficient, and he was so polite and accommodating. When I requested a room change, he handled it proactively and professionally. He also took the time to explain all the hotel benefits and provided excellent tips for getting around the area. His attention to detail truly showcased his professionalism. The hotel's overall Nanyang design aesthetic is stunning, and combined with the warm and attentive service, it really elevated my travel experience. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on future trips and will be recommending it to my friends and family.

I frequently visit Xiamen, and the Andaz is indeed an excellent choice for its location. While it's not beachfront, it's situated in the most vibrant and trendy area for dining, entertainment, and shopping in Xiamen. The overall design features a South-East Asian style, which perfectly complements the city's aesthetic. It's surrounded by old residential areas and bustling city crowds. The hotel's happy hour is fantastic, offering complimentary refreshments and drinks to guests, and it's incredibly pleasant to enjoy them there. However, it falls short compared to the深圳 Andaz's locker room and hot tub. The locker room here is small and cramped, and the front desk staff didn't explain the key and slipper situation to guests, seeming a bit inattentive. The pool was also closed due to a typhoon, and the sauna was under maintenance. Aside from that, the overall service and room experience were very comfortable.

The pool is great, and I really love the hotel's design. Everyone was very polite, making for a comfortable stay.

Joanna's communication was prompt and spot-on, and all the arrangements were perfectly handled. The hotel's location is superb, very close to nearby attractions and the high-speed train station. MixC shopping mall is right downstairs, and you can access it directly through the hotel's side entrance, which is super convenient. The room design is grand, the soundproofing is good, the facilities are quite new, and everything is clean with comfortable bedding. The pool looked beautiful, but unfortunately, it was closed due to a typhoon, so we didn't get to try it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

I booked a three-night stay. The mini-bar was only stocked on the first night. For the remaining two nights, the room wasn't restocked? Terrible review. On the last night, there wasn't even any fruit left... How could this Andaz be so bad?
