The receptionist provide excellence servive with a free hand drown map and clear explaination of this island. She even upgraded our room for free. The set breakfast provided give another credit to this hotel.

We had a good time at the hotel, which has very attentive and nice staff, and charming common areas where they served us complimentary afternoon tea after arrival and Chinese breakfast in the morning. The restaurant suggestions by the hotel staff were good. The hotel is in an old villa, but has been renovated to nice and modern rooms.

Kindly called to confirm and update us with travel suggestions like booking the ferry. Picked us up from the port and helped carry our bags. Breakfast was soso but so was all food on the island. Great service though!

It was already 10:30 pm when we arrived on the island. The front desk kept in touch with us and sent us video directions. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from Sanqiutian Pier to the hotel. Compared with some B&Bs that are deeper and higher on the island, this location is very friendly, and there are not many bumps and bumps in dragging luggage.
The loft room I booked was not very big, but the small skylight on the second floor was great, and I could see the moon. The moon was round and bright on the day I went to the island. The island was quiet at night, and I could see the moon while lying down.
