The room was really unique, with a 'starlit' ceiling and a bathtub, which my child loved. Every day we came back, we'd take a bath, which was very relaxing. The service was excellent, and it was quiet and comfortable. The bedding was clean, just the right firmness, and I slept really well. The best part is that the elevator goes directly to the second floor, which is super convenient! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xiamen. Highly recommended!

The hotel environment is very photogenic; if you're into that, staying here could save you the cost of visiting several cafes just for photos, leaving you more money for food and shopping. We stayed on the third floor. Although there's no elevator, the front desk ladies were incredibly proactive and helped us with our luggage. I felt a bit embarrassed, but they were all super strong! They were very nice and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, the check-in experience was the best of our trip. We stayed in a twin room, which was very spacious. Both beds were 1.5m wide, and the mattresses were neither too soft nor too hard, with good support. The bathroom space was also decent, and I have to give high marks to the showerhead – the water pressure was really excellent. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the toilet paper (the facial tissues were quite good though). The location is in Pearl Bay, perfect for watching the sunset. You just cross the road and you're at the beach. The bus stop right outside has many routes that go to most attractions and ferry terminals, which is super convenient. We arrived from Xiamen North; a taxi took about 40 minutes and cost around 65 RMB. A taxi to Gaoqi Airport took about 30 minutes and cost around 45 RMB, just for reference. Finally, we ordered 'tangshui' (dessert soup) for three consecutive days – I absolutely loved it! If you come to Xiamen, you should try it, but there are so many delicious tangshui places here.

I was taken to a guesthouse next door. The overall cleaning wasn't very good. Guests were told not to throw foreign objects or hair into the toilet, but the cleaning staff threw hair into the toilet and didn't flush it. There was someone else's hair on the bed. The toilet seat was completely broken, and I had to fix it myself before using the toilet. There were strange protrusions on the floor, which felt dangerous, and there were no warning signs. The reception area on the first floor felt like the host's own living room, not for guests. Other facilities were okay.
