The hotel is located a little far from the downtown. I took a taxi all the time to go to the downtown and paid around 50 yuan from the hotel to the downtown. All staffs only speak English which was a bit uncomfortable to communicate. Although, they were very kind an helpful to help me. Room condition was very clean and the view from the room was incredible. Also the outdoor swimming pool is good to relax all day! I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in a nice 5 star hotel with reasonable price!

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Breakfast has western and local dishes. They have two restaurants, a local and western one. The western one closes at 11.The location is a bonus. Next time we’re in Xiamen we’re booking here again.

The location of the hotel is easy to find. The hotel lobby is grand. The front desk staff Nie Qiaomeng also provides very good service. He takes the initiative to say hello and speaks softly. He is very warm, thoughtful and attentive. The room is well lit and hygienic and clean. The towels and bath towels in the bathroom are also white and clean. It is highly recommended! The hotel has complete facilities, parking is very convenient, the hotel rooms are bright, and it is very comfortable to stay. The beach is right outside the door, and the Garden Expo is also very close. I will come back next time. The swimming pool is quite large, the water is very deep, and the environment is very good. Children's comments: Lingling is the most fun place to visit in Xiamen. Unfortunately, it only has one day and unlimited admission. Children can observe small animals in depth and gain a lot! Although the zoo is not very big, it is very suitable for walking children. There are many performances a day. When you are tired of watching, go back to the hotel to rest and then go out to play. The children will be happy and the adults will not be tired. My children like to give to brown bears the most. We bought carrots three times (a serving of ￥10). When we raise our hands, the brown bears will stand up. The children are very excited. When we were feeding the giraffes, the children were always scared around us, but the giraffes were really docile. I stayed here after arriving late at night in Xiamen planning to leave early the next morning to go see the tulous. The check in staff was polite. The lobby had a bit of noisy construction for an upcoming event, but the noise couldn’t be heard from the rooms. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I felt very safe as a solo traveler here.

The hotel seems old, i.e. not updated for years. I was moved to this hotel after the hotel I originally booked could not receive foreigners. Tegoo is one of those approved to receive foreigners. The rooms need updating and I believe they allow smoking in the room.

This hotel is in a beautiful location! Right across from the beach and not far from nice beach front shops and restaurants. The rooms are located in villas. The grounds are definitely worth walking around and having a look. The room was very clean and comfortable. Room types vary, some have bath tubs and/ or balconies, some do not. It is best to request what you would like to have in the room when checking in. I did wish the balconies all had chairs and table, I only saw that a few of them had some. There is an on site laundromat with dryers and a gym which is very convenient. Me and my friends requested the pool to be filled a few times but unfortunately by the time it was filled, we were checking out and could not use it. It is a shame because the pool area is really so beautiful. The staff was very friendly and tried to fix our issues and help our requests. We asked for more western styled food at the breakfast bar and they were able to help us with that the next morning. The staff is really great and helpful! I would book here again!
