11360195****The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Gulangyu Island. It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to Longtou Road, where all the restaurants are, and attractions like Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden. We stayed in Building 9, which was very peaceful. It hardly felt like the bustling National Day holiday, but as soon as we stepped out of the hotel, we were met with throngs of people – truly two different worlds! The hotel has a private back exit for guests that leads to a quiet beach with very few people. The kids absolutely loved it, braving the heat and strong sun for over two hours, catching several small crabs.
The hotel used to be a government retreat and is now open to the public. While the facilities and decor are a bit dated, you can tell the original fixtures are still of good quality. The room even came with tea ceremony tools, and the kids had a blast playing tea master – the Dahongpao tea was delicious.
The hotel service is outstanding. They offer exclusive shuttle transfers from the ferry terminal to the hotel when you arrive and depart. If you're heading straight to the ferry after sightseeing, you can arrange a time with the hotel, and they'll deliver your luggage to the terminal, allowing you to enjoy your day worry-free. The staff are also incredibly helpful; knowing the kids wanted to play on the beach, they even brought sand-digging tools. When we encountered a staff member on the road and asked for directions to the beach, he simply walked us all the way there. We genuinely loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThis stay was really a pleasant surprise! The location was easy to find, and the housekeeper would call ahead! The surrounding area was very quiet, and I slept very well at night. The room was very carefully decorated, clean and tidy, and the light was very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were very complete and very convenient to use. The guy at the front desk was very nice and gave a lot of local travel suggestions. He felt like a caring friend. It was a very relaxing stay, and I will choose here again next time!

MM9160****This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, right downstairs from the pedestrian street, and just a ten-minute walk to the Eighth Market. In the evenings, after dinner, you can stroll around the pedestrian street or enjoy the night views from the ferry terminal across the way. The staff are very welcoming and provide guests with a Xiamen travel guide, including routes and important tips. Their food recommendations were also spot on. The cleaning lady was incredibly friendly; she always smiled and answered questions with great patience. The room itself was clean, tidy, and completely odor-free. The garden balcony on the fifth floor is a real highlight – guests can sit there, chat, and enjoy the bustling street below, which is truly delightful. The guesthouse's decor is very comfortable and added so much to our trip. Friends planning a visit to Xiamen can confidently choose this guesthouse.

AAluoluoyaFound a hidden gem of a hotel in Xiamen! The artistic vibe permeates the entire space, and the art installations in the lobby are incredibly photogenic. The bedding in the rooms is pure cotton, gentle on the skin and breathable. The location is superb, just an 8-minute walk to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. Amenities are comprehensive, from the minibar to smart speakers. The airport transfer driver was thoughtful and attentive, and the hydrangeas in the back garden are blooming beautifully.

BBlindSmileThis was my second time staying here, and I chose the Deluxe Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and felt more like a serviced apartment—with a huge sofa that could easily seat 6–8 people, a proper living area, and a comfy king bed that made it easy to get good rest.
The hotel has its own dedicated lobby for drop-off and pick-up, which made arrivals smooth and hassle-free.
Staff were friendly and attentive. I was offered free breakfast, and they even helped with laundry by moving my clothes from the washer to the dryer and placing them at the counter for pickup—just let them know in advance.
The food was great, with a mix of Western and Chinese options that were both delicious and satisfying.
The location is convenient, especially if you're attending events at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, and getting around the area is easy.
Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Everything was handled with care. I’ll definitely be back.

中餐和西餐都很好吃，早餐种类丰富，品质也不错。
酒店的位置很方便，去厦门国际会展中心非常近，出行也很方便。

MM52354****Located inside Zengcuo'an, the restaurant is right downstairs with plenty of food options, making it a great location for those who enjoy shopping and dining. I recommend Mr. Zheng's Restaurant, which also has a branch in Zengcuo'an; their seafood hot pot is delicious, and the service is excellent. The mango sticky rice and sliced meat downstairs are also very tasty. Just outside, there's Zengji Seafood Congee Breakfast Shop, whose congee and oyster omelet are quite good and suitable for breakfast. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and you can walk to the music square where there's live music in the evening. The sand is fine, with pebbles and small crabs, which kids enjoy. For the ferry to Gulangyu Island, we booked the 9:10 am ferry, so we had to leave early as the roads are very congested. It took about 50 minutes to reach the pier. We booked a family room, which had two rooms available. It was fine for a family of three with my mother. Everything was disposable and very clean, although the bathroom had a slight odor.

OOhYLThe hotel is situated at a very bustling shopping street area, you can get all the local foods/snacks and a great place to buy souvenirs and gifts. Beside the hotel side door is 24hr mart and Luckin coffee, very convenient. Although the hotel looks abit dated but cleanliness is still up to standard and room is spacious. Laundry room and gym is abit hectic to get to, u need to climb a flight of stairs from 2nd floor to 3rd floor ( not accessible by lift). I liked the customer services from the reception and housekeeping, they attended to our issues promptly and sincerely. We had enjoyed the stay with the hotel.

It's about 200 meters from Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, with plenty of dining options nearby, and directly opposite the ferry terminal for Gulangyu Island. Getting around is super convenient. I highly recommend the pork rib rice set next to the hotel; for 27 yuan, it's a balanced meal with free rice refills. It tastes delicious too.
Although the room was small, it was a huge plus that the bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the shower stall was spacious enough for an adult and a child to bathe comfortably.

The hotel's housekeeper was very kind, and the front desk offered luggage storage. They even provided a small local specialty from Xiamen Gulangyu. There's a cute robot that can deliver food to your room, and the self-service afternoon tea on the second floor was quite nice.

From check-in to check-out, every staff member makes me feel at home. The facilities in the room are also very comfortable, the mattress is soft and the shower water is strong. Moreover, the location of the hotel is also very convenient, there are many delicious restaurants and attractions nearby. I will stay here next time I come to Xiamen and recommend it to my friends.
