Pet-friendly and the service was warm and welcoming. The hotel has a unique charm and its location in Guan Jia Alley is super convenient for getting around. The staff waited up for me when I was doing laundry late at night, which was really thoughtful. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

The hotel was surprisingly good, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. The decor was brand new, a grand modern Chinese style, complete with a smart toilet, Dyson hairdryer, and sparkling clean faucets. I even took a picture of the spotless towels, folded to a 5-star standard. Located in Guanjia Alley, it offers stunning views of the ancient city right outside the door, and authentic Xiangyang cuisine is just steps away. Right next to the ancient city wall, it seems fellow travelers are very fair, giving it 4.9 stars; I give it 5. Staying here made the entire trip wonderful. The staff were also incredibly welcoming, calling ahead to confirm and picking us up. In short, guesthouses these days are doing a very high standard.

It’s just that the lights in the park are turned off early at night. There are no street lights when I go to Tangcheng to watch the show and then come back, making it difficult to find the way.
