Qionghai Hotel

As expected from a long-standing state guesthouse, the rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The breakfast offers a huge variety of dishes and tastes great. The hotel is located right by Qionghai Lake, boasting beautiful surroundings. It's a courtyard-style hotel and even has free-roaming peacocks, which really elevates the hotel's ambiance.

Back again! This is one of my favorite hotels. The pool is stunning; it would probably be even better to go in the morning when it's less crowded. The lake view is unbeatable. I didn't have much time at the hotel, but I still managed to walk by the lake for half an hour in the morning. I loved the buckwheat porridge, buckwheat juice, and stir-fried loofah tips at breakfast. Next time, I'll definitely stay for a couple more days to run, swim, hike, read, relax with tea, and soak up the sun.

This is an older, well-established hotel in Xichang, boasting the best location by Qionghai Lake. It's backed by Lushan Mountain, making it incredibly convenient for visiting various attractions, and it's also very close to the Wetland Park. The parking lot is spacious, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices.

The room was spacious and clean, and the view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sunshine in the morning was such a treat! The hotel itself is very photogenic, and the location is unbeatable. The Fishing Village and various shops are just a few minutes' walk away on either side. Strolling along the boardwalk at dawn, waiting for the sunrise, was incredibly relaxing. The food was also quite good. I highly recommend choosing a room in the Ocean View building here; sitting on the balcony sofa and soaking up the sun made me not even want to leave the room.

I booked the cheapest room, which was a bit small but very clean. The common areas are comfortable, but they're also open to the public, except maybe the pool. Sitting by the pool, sunbathing and reading a book is really nice (if no one is smoking or playing loud music, that is...).

First of all, a big thanks to the lovely front desk staff for upgrading me to a comfortable room in Xiaofeng Building, which is significantly larger than the business room. I chose Qionghai Hotel again because of its superb location, right in the heart of Qionghai Lake's most prime spot. The hotel itself is a scenic area, so you don't even need to leave to enjoy the beautiful views. As for the room facilities, they are indeed a bit dated, which I expected, and it didn't bother me. After all, it's great value for money. The highlights for me were the choice of 8 different pillows, the lunch and dinner buffets at the Jingshan restaurant (a group-buy buffet for less than 60 per person, far superior in taste to the surrounding restaurants), and the daily fruit and yogurt delivery to the room!

The hotel is quite large with a beautifully maintained garden-style design. It's right by Qionghai Lake. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but exceptionally clean.

Whenever I visit Xichang, I always stay at Qionghai Hotel. The location and service are both excellent. It's right by Qionghai Lake, perfect for cycling or a leisurely stroll. The hotel itself is quite large, to the point where it's easy to get lost! It's also super convenient to walk to Lushan Mountain from here.

Qionghai Hotel has an excellent location right by Qionghai Lake, and it's also very close to the city. The hotel grounds are expansive with great landscaping. The rooms in the old building aren't very big, but the new building is much better. There are peacocks on the property, and you can also check out Qionglu Bookstore. The Black Swan Cafe, however, is quite average.
