Mushroom outdoor luxury hotel

Highly, highly, highly do NOT recommend!!!! I can't stress it enough. I brought my child to Xingyi for summer vacation, and I was so drawn in by the pictures on Xiaohongshu that I booked the Mushroom Hotel. But I truly regret it. I almost never write bad reviews, but this hotel really opened my eyes. First, I want to say that the staff were very enthusiastic and handled issues promptly, but the hardware is truly terrible, and the price is outrageous. We booked the 'Courtyard Enjoy King Room' in the 'Supreme Zone'. You couldn't tell which zone it was from the booking interface, but it's fine since there's a shuttle bus within the resort. Room 8102 was very large, with two bathtubs and decent views. However, there was a dead cockroach on the carpet when we entered. We called the front desk, and an auntie came to clean and disinfect it. In the evening, my child took a bath in the bathtub in the room – blue for hot water, red for cold water, which took a while to figure out. When it was my turn, the shower room's decor was like a public restroom, not to mention the showerhead was broken and leaning against the wall, which was just annoying! The vanity had two sinks, but the water pressure was extremely low. At this point, I was really angry, so I immediately called the front desk. The front desk was confirming with others on the phone, and it turned out they already knew this room had very low water pressure, and apparently, room 8103 was similar, but no one informed us upon check-in. Later, I personally went to the front desk, and I believe the manager offered to switch us to a suite in the themed area, but that room had no internet, which left me speechless. Finally, we agreed to switch rooms the next day. On the second day, we went to Wanfenglin. When I went to the front desk to exchange room cards, I found out that the room from last night had been sold again. I was truly speechless. They knew there was a problem but continued to sell it without fixing it. They moved us to a room with a courtyard (Figure 3), which looked nice. The water pressure in the sink was better, but the pipes leaked like crazy, making it unusable. Besides the 'bright mode,' the lights in the bathroom and shower couldn't be turned on, so my husband and I had to get ready in the dark after our child fell asleep. The bathtub in this room was outside, with a snowflake for hot water and a sun for cold water – I was truly baffled! A common problem with both rooms was that the Wi-Fi and set-top box were linked; if you turned off the power, the Wi-Fi also turned off, so the TV had to be on to use the internet. I don't understand that design. I won't even complain about breakfast or the children's activities. There's nowhere to eat near the entire hotel. The two Chinese restaurants inside the resort were so bad they left us speechless. The restaurant only serves breakfast, and it was so low-quality – no vegetable leaves were replenished for the noodles in the morning. This room cost us 1300 yuan. For the same price, a parent-child hotel in Sanya is incredibly competitive, okay? We would have been better off finding a B&B in Wanfenglin; at least the scenery would be better. If you just want to take photos for social media, you can get clear shots from outside the Sunshine Valley. The pretty spots inside are either crowded or have cleaning aunties with their carts parked there. It's very, very not worth it. The pictures are heavily dependent on camera angles and editing; the original photos are just average.

The front desk service was excellent. Since we were traveling with a small child, they immediately arranged a room for us right by the swimming pool. A volunteer guided us to our room and helped with our luggage upon check-in. The hotel is located inside the scenic area and provides free shuttle service. There are different parent-child activities every day, which my child absolutely loved. The only downside is that the swimming pool closes too early, at 7 PM.

The room was great, although the second-floor room I booked was unexpectedly moved to the first floor, which meant sacrificing some of the view. My child absolutely loved it, and there were plenty of engaging activities. The only minor downside was that the bathtub's water flow wasn't very consistent, and the fixtures seemed a bit loose and old.

The Mushroom Hotel has a fantastic design, making you feel like you've stepped into a fairytale. It's incredibly photogenic! The room facilities are smart and modern. We stayed in the 'Supreme' area, and the space was quite generous. The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was varied and unique. Overall, it was a distinctive experience with decent value for money. It's a great choice for families or couples looking for a novel accommodation experience.

The family-friendly experience at Xingyi Mushroom Glamping Hotel gets full marks! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. When the air conditioning in our room broke down upon check-in, the hotel proactively upgraded us to a spacious family room free of charge. They handled the issue efficiently and appropriately, making us feel right at home. The outdoor pool was a huge hit with the kids, who had an absolute blast. The fairytale-like mushroom bungalows create a wonderful ambiance, and being right next to Wanfenglin (Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks) made the whole trip incredibly fulfilling. It's perfectly suited for family travel, highly recommended!

This was the hotel my child was most looking forward to, and it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale world once we checked in. The hotel's decor is beautiful, and the room was spacious, clean, and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, a buffet combined with a la carte noodles. You could scan a QR code to order noodles, and they'd call your number when it was ready, which was very convenient – no mess and no waiting. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. There are dedicated shuttle services within the park that can take you to different areas. The only downside was when a huge downpour hit while we were at the unpowered playground. We called for the hotel shuttle to pick us up, but after waiting a long time, it never came, so we ended up walking back in the heavy rain.

Bringing my kids to the Mushroom House Hotel was absolutely worth it. The staff were so welcoming, and the surroundings are incredibly beautiful – I couldn't stop taking pictures. If you're visiting Xingyi with children, you really must stay here for a night.

A great family-friendly hotel located right inside the scenic area. They offer shuttle service with golf carts, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The only minor inconvenience was that our room type required walking up stairs as there's no elevator, but thankfully the staff were very helpful with luggage.

You can see Wanfenglin (Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks) from within the Sunlight Valley scenic area, but to actually visit Wanfenglin, you need to exit and re-enter through the main scenic area gate. The hotel service was excellent; both the front desk staff and the drivers were very patient. There's also a shuttle bus service connecting the two hotel sections and the playground, which is super convenient and great for families with kids.
