The location is good but the hotel needs some work on the facilities. The taps in the bathroom sink were dirty and were not smooth (either very little water or a lot of force). The carpets also could do with a good clean. The breakfast was ok though with some chinese and western food. Not many choices but enough to fill you up.

The manager of this hotel sally was amazing. She speaks fantastic english and helped us in directions, picking up from airport, booking the trains, and when we lost our baggage in the Airport she went out of her way to help, in alloting the rooms, 10 Star service by her. amazing person and would love to visit. this charming city again and stay in the same Hotel. Location is damn good and her service is amazing. Thank you sally very much from all of us from the Team of 10 people.

Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.

Only stayed one night, but the hotel was great, the staff were helpful, and the ginger tea they give as a welcome drink was lovely. Comfy bed and hot shower are always great. The little toiletries were good quality as well. While I may not go back to Xining again, I would definitely stay at a Hampton by Hilton again. 😀

It was better than expected! Pure European style, the bathroom is large and bright. The cloakroom is fully equipped. Central air conditioning is also very powerful! Especially the little beauties and handsome guys at the front desk, the service is thoughtful and caring! Also gave suggestions for nearby specialties! Good quality and low price. Fly in the ointment, the shower head is too high, is it really European style? No one who is 1.8 meters tall don't want to rush into the rain, the main shower head still can't be adjusted! Switching the shower doesn't work too well! It's a little late, so I didn't bother the front desk anymore! The traffic is very convenient! The sidewalks are closed due to recent road construction.
