Wenhua Hengtai Hotel (Xining Railway Station)

Absolutely, unequivocally excellent! The room was incredibly spacious and well-designed. The front desk staff were wonderfully gentle and kind. This was by far the best hotel experience we had during our Qinghai-Gansu loop trip. Highly recommend it! It's also very close to Xining Station. Simply fantastic!

Because we had such a comfortable stay here when we first arrived, we decided to book this hotel again for our return trip to Xining at the end of our journey.

The carpet was generally quite dirty, but the hotel's location was convenient for getting around. The room itself was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and good hygiene. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and it offered good value for money. Overall, the experience was average.

The room was very large and spacious, and quite clean. As someone from the south, coming from a hot place to the great Northwest, I didn't adapt to the weather immediately and it was unbearably hot. One electric fan kept me going for three nights, as it was cold outside but hot inside. However, the service was pretty good, and people in the great Northwest are very nice!

A really great hotel! Convenient location, well-equipped facilities, clean environment, and friendly service. Highly recommend!

I booked a king-sized bed room, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was asked if a twin room would be okay. I said no. My reservation clearly stated a room away from the elevator and quiet, but they assigned me a room right next to the elevator, which was really frustrating. The hotel environment itself was fine, though.

Not bad, quite close to Xining Station, very convenient to walk to. Parking is also easy. The room doesn't have air conditioning, but it was fine in August, even a little cold at night.

The entrance on the ground floor was a bit off-putting, and I was surprised they charged for parking. The room had carpet, and there was a strange smell, perhaps from a recent renovation.
