Cheng Ye Mountain Luxury Hotel

The environment here is great, with a laundry room and gym available. The concierges are all very enthusiastic; they called me two days in advance and even set up a one-on-one chat group the day before my arrival. Our riding clothes got dirty, and they helped us take them to the laundry room, dried them overnight, and delivered them to our door the next day. The staff (both guys and girls) are all so wonderful! I highly recommend this place to everyone. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit. Oh, and the noodles for breakfast are really delicious!

Let's start with the downsides: Firstly, the afternoon tea is only available from 3 PM to 6 PM. Honestly, that's a bit stingy. I've stayed in five-star hotels all over Xinjiang, and this is the only one where afternoon tea is offered for just three hours. Other hotels offer it from 1 PM to 10 PM, and if you don't finish it on the day, you can even take it with you the next day when you check out. It doesn't get dark until 9 PM in Xinjiang, so only having three hours for afternoon tea is truly ridiculous. It's not like the cost of afternoon tea is high, but being so stingy leaves a very poor impression on guests and doesn't match the level of a five-star service. Secondly, the privacy in the hotel rooms is somewhat lacking. For instance, the ground-floor rooms by the pool have windows and doors directly facing it, so with people constantly passing by, you have to keep the curtains closed, which means no natural light or ventilation. Then, from the third-floor public viewing area, you can see the courtyards of the rooms below and even the bathtub of a room on the second floor. If privacy is a concern for you, I'd strongly advise caution. Thirdly, breakfast is a bit too monotonous. The only options are Western-style vegetable salad, bread, and Chongqing noodles. The noodles were passable, though. Fourthly, I wouldn't recommend this place for those without their own transport. The guesthouse doesn't typically offer shuttle services to the scenic area, and it's incredibly hard to get a taxi outside the Nalat scenic area, especially in the morning. In the afternoon and evening, you might have some luck with Didi (ride-hailing), but drivers said there are very few cars taking orders here. We stayed at another five-star guesthouse in Nalat that was much more proactive in offering shuttle services to the scenic area and even to town for meals and back. With this place, well, you have to go through a fair bit of effort to communicate and negotiate, which can be quite draining for guests who are a bit more reserved. As for the pros: The overall design style of the guesthouse is lovely, and the pool looks great in photos when the sun is out. The service was also decent; when we asked for help with luggage because of the tall staircase leading to and from the guesthouse, they did assist.

I found this hotel online, initially attracted by its unique decor, so I booked one night. Upon arrival, I found the environment truly excellent; the rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable, so I extended my stay for another night. The hotel's environment is quite distinctive, and the decor is a style I like. The Western-style tacos and Chongqing noodles at breakfast were both delicious. However, what I really wanted to commend was our butler, @叾屾, who was incredibly welcoming and instantly relieved our travel fatigue. Everyone here is wonderful; this trip to Yili was truly a fantastic experience! Highly recommended!!

A perfect score! Excellent service, beautiful scenery, great facilities, convenient location. I especially loved the third-floor terrace and the beautiful swimming pool where you can also go boating. The sunset views were stunning, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended!

The room was beautiful with a panoramic view. The service was excellent, with very friendly and responsible staff. The restaurant was delicious; feel free to try it.

Environment: The view from the window is of the Narat River Valley Grassland, perfect for taking photos. Service: The butler, Xiaoqing, was very attentive and provided excellent service. The complimentary travel photography package was a great bonus. The bedding was also very comfortable. The afternoon tea was decent.
