We stayed here as a family and while the location is peaceful and the sea views are truly stunning, the overall experience was very disappointing. The house looks beautiful from the outside, but inside it lacks basic functionality and attention to detail. Bathrooms had no towel rails, hooks, toilet roll holders, or space for toiletries. Bedrooms had nowhere to hang clothes. There was a washing machine but nowhere to dry laundry. The cooker kept switching off, making it difficult to prepare meals. More concerning were the safety and maintenance issues. On our first day, the sauna door suddenly shattered before it was even turned on. Glass went everywhere and a family member suffered minor cuts. This was extremely frightening and could have been much worse. We also experienced multiple power cuts, including one where the house was left completely in the dark for around 30 minutes while my daughter was in the shower, and we had to rely on candles for light. The next morning there was no water supply for a period of time, which was very difficult with children. Hot water ran out quickly throughout the stay. The bathrooms had a constant sewage smell, and the pool, advertised as heated, was cold for the first two days and only warmed up later. What made the situation worse was the response from management. Once they became aware that we would be reporting these issues to the booking platform, they attempted to shift the blame onto us. The host initially admitted fault in private messages but then denied everything through Airbnb, which is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. Despite everything, there was no genuine apology or meaningful effort to resolve the issues. If it were not for the view and the difficulty of relocating a large family, we would have left early. Unfortunately, we would not return. Avoid at all cost.
