The hotel is good for skiing in and out, To walk in and out needs some stamina as it’s located on higher ground, but there is a free shuttle service till 5:30pm. The onsen is the best as it has both indoor and outdoor onsen. It’s so good to have the onsen in the snow.

I had a plan to stay on January 19th, but because of the coronavirus, I contacted the hotel to cancel on the 17th. Even though it was the coronavirus, you can't cancel for free lol You have to pay a 20%fee or more and you have to contact Trip to cancel it yourself. After that, I informed Trip to cancel on the 17th immediately. Trip said that they would contact me by the 18th, but since I didn't know which employee promised to cancel for 20%, I was charged the full cancellation fee. Even though I informed them to cancel before my stay due to health reasons '2 days in advance', the hotel refused to let me cancel my stay, Moreover They didn't let me change my check-in date, and didn't let me change guest name. It was different from every other hotel in Japan that I've stayed at. I consider this to be the worst service I've ever encountered. Even though I thought I wanted to stay at a hotel in Zao after I recovered, I didn't want to stay here. I will recommend this experience to everyone I know. 最悪

The location is on a hillside, but there are drivers who will pick you up anywhere on the street at any time. The driver is very considerate and will confirm that you are at the right location, and will not leave you alone. The only disadvantage is that you can only call the driver when you return to the hotel, and you cannot arrange the time and place on the way there. If you don’t have a Japanese phone number, you can only ask the store to help you call. If you use a cooperating ski rental store, you only need to leave the skis at the door of the hotel after skiing and the store will come to collect the skis. The hotel has an open-air hot spring which is quite comfortable.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, which is suitable for people who drive themselves. You need to drive to eat, shop or go to other entrances of the ski resort. There is a path next to the hotel to ski towards the central entrance. The hotel does not have a washing machine which is very inconvenient.

The hotel has a car pick-up service, the staff is very friendly, the location is a little higher and it is ten minutes away from Lawson. The Japanese-style room is large and has heating. It is very comfortable to stay. It is a pity that breakfast and dinner cannot be booked. There are open-air hot springs and indoor hot springs, both of which are natural spring water.

There is a bend in the road, and it is a bit difficult to walk to the hotel in the heavy snow. The hotel has a shuttle bus, but you need to call the hotel. The open-air hot spring is nice, the food quality is good, the hospitality is polite, most of the tourists are Japanese, the room is large and clean. In the peak season in mid-February, the price for 2 people is about HK$2,000, one night and two meals, which is very cost-effective!
