Hotel Oakhill

The hotel is located on a small hill, with snow scenery and a quiet environment, so you can relax your body and mind... You can see the snowy scenery on the hillside outside from the open-air hot spring. The hotel staff are very friendly and will try their best to help you with your needs. Because I had a big luggage, the staff arranged a car to take me to the Zao bus terminal. I am very grateful to them for their thoughtfulness.

We stayed here for two nights. It is a very cost-effective hotel. It is very comfortable to soak in the hot springs. It is not very convenient, but it has everything you need. The service is also very good, especially the grandpa in the restaurant. Hahahaha. I will come again.

When you think of Zao, you think of ski resorts, and when you think of ski resorts, you think of hot springs. By the way, Zao Onsen is expensive this time of year, so I decided to stay here because it's cheaper. The location is about 20 yen by car from the city, and since Yamagata is in the countryside, there aren't many cars, so it was very stress-free ^^. Oh, I'm not dissing you. So, Zao is completely empty at night, so this time I ate dinner outside and entered the hot springs early. I'm going to take a bath right away. The smell of sulfur is the best ^^ The smell is irresistible for hot spring lovers ^^ As an inn, I can't deny that it's old, but I guess it can't be helped since it's a place where snow accumulates. I went to Zao ^^

Reviews like ``The staff are polite'' and ``They are attentive'' stand out. I was skeptical, but this inn had good service as per the reviews. Above all, it is inexpensive and has the best cost performance. This hotel is not suitable for people who cannot tolerate anything other than a new, clean hotel. Although the building is old, it is well-maintained. After a long time, I found an inn that I didn't want to tell about.
