Yoshidaya Ryokan

We arrived at around eight o'clock and ordered dinner but it was said that it would be at the latest at 7 o'clock, so the dinner was not available. The service from the counter lady was very good.

The waiter spoke Chinese, and it seemed like there was a choice for dinner, but I was assigned the chicken meatball hot pot without being asked. The clerk was very enthusiastic and gave us a coupon for a nearby hot spring. It was overall comfortable.

I will stay here again next time I have a chance to go skiing in Zao. The service was very good. We stayed four nights in a row and the dinners were different for four days. It’s no problem to take a bath, dry your snowshoes, or do laundry. There happens to be a Malaysian girl who can speak Chinese (smiling every day) Great stay experience

Travel back in time to the Showa era!!! 1 night with 2 meals was 10,000 yen, but with a coupon it was 9,000 yen. To be honest, Zao Onsen has a feeling of desolation like other hot spring resorts. It is good to have a hot spring for 24 hours. The hot spring is as large as four washrooms. I've been to two outdoor baths, but I think the quality of the water is not much different. You can choose from 5 types of dinner. I chose Genghis Khan, which is said to have originated in Zao. It was delicious as usual. Bottled beer (700 yen), cold sake (450 yen for Dewazakura) added (laughs).

I thought it was probably an inn often used for school trips. Repeatedly expanding and remodeling, it feels like you might get lost. There are quite a few hotels like this in Tohoku. There were quite a few customers. The parking lot was full, but there's no need to worry as they will guide you to another location. Stayed in the room. There was no air conditioner, but a heater, but it was cold when I slept with the window open. You can get a blue ticket at the reception desk at the public bath, so if you take it with you, you can enter for free. You can buy a ticket for the large open-air bath from 650 yen to 450 yen at the reception. The food is also quite solid, and I think even people with discerning tastes can be satisfied. I stayed in Yamagata for two days, but I would like to pick up the sukiyaki of this inn as the gourmet number one. This can be ranked up to Yamagata beef for 700 yen, but the oil was sweet and it was the best. Good luck to all the staff!
