It was a hotel directly connected to Yamagata Station. The weather was good on the day I stayed, the mountain 々 was clear at dusk, and I was able to see a beautiful moon at night. If you walk in front of the station, there are restaurants and supermarkets, so I think it's not troublesome to stay. There was also a convenience store on the １ floor. We were really happy to stay in this hotel. The location was very central and connected with other mean of transportations (busses and trains) which is very beneficial if you are going to visit Zao Onsen or Ginzan Onsen. They also connected to this mall S-Pal (with supermarkets and small resto). The room very clean and full with amenities. The staff really helpfull. No complain at all.

By the way, Zao Onsen is expensive this time of year, so I decided to stay here because it's cheaper. The location is about 20 yen by car from the city, and since Yamagata is in the countryside, there aren't many cars, so it was very stress-free ^^. Oh, I'm not dissing you. So, Zao is completely empty at night, so this time I ate dinner outside and entered the hot springs early. I'm going to take a bath right away. The smell of sulfur is the best ^^ The smell is irresistible for hot spring lovers ^^ As an inn, I can't deny that it's old, but I guess it can't be helped since it's a place where snow accumulates. I went to Zao ^^

I just about 5-7 minutes walk from the station. Is really a nice hotel. Looks very new and room size is good. I really like the restaurant downstairs. The beef is one of the best I ever have. Also discount for hotel guests. Same restaurant for breakfast.
