Fantastic value for money! Despite being an older property, the rooms are exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and smell fresh with no moldiness at all. The included breakfast and dinner were both delicious and very generous in size. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. A wonderful stay overall!
+++ We saw wild dear cross the road near the hotel +++😄😄😄

This is a very old Japanese-style hotel with outdated facilities. Check-in was at 3 PM, and we arrived at noon to drop off our luggage, but there was no one at the front desk, which startled us. We were only able to drop off our luggage after seeing the hotel manager. The hotel is located by Lake Yamanaka, and although it's close to Asahigaoka Station, it's inconvenient to walk along a small path from the station with luggage. Also, you can't see Mount Fuji. The hotel offers self-service bicycles for rent. The onsen (hot spring) was too hot to soak in. The only good thing was the dinner, which was Wagyu beef and very delicious. When we left, the owner even drove us to Asahigaoka Station. It's more suitable for those with a car. If you're looking for a new hotel, don't consider this old-fashioned one. However, if you want to experience traditional Japanese style, you can give it a try.

The room has Japanese tatami, which the children love. It is suitable for family communication. Our family of six traveled this time and it felt like we had booked the entire hotel, including the hot springs. It was clean and quiet. The Japanese cuisine for breakfast and dinner was especially delicious and great value for money!
