GreenTree Inn Properties in Yancheng

In short: I will never book a GreenTree Inn again. I booked a deluxe king room, which was the best room available. The cleanliness was as shown in the picture below, so I won't comment further. The biggest problem was the terrible soundproofing. I could clearly hear the neighbors talking, and it was impossible to sleep if they were even slightly loud. Because of the high demand for rooms during the National Day holiday, I couldn't change rooms. The staff gave me earplugs, but honestly, the soundproofing wasn't their fault. Finally, the neighbors went to sleep at 1 AM, but the cleaning staff started working at 7 AM, making a huge racket with their carts. I understand they work early in the morning, but with such poor soundproofing, couldn't they have been a little quieter? Not getting a good night's rest while traveling really ruined my mood. I chose this hotel because of its good location, close to the Water Street, the Korean Street, and the Sea Salt Museum. The price during the National Day holiday wasn't cheap either, and my mood was absolutely terrible.
