The room is cleanest possible and has superb view, internet connection is smooth and quick, clerks are polite and attentive, breakfast is excellent and better than any other hotel in Yangon. Only one thing I didn't like is that the refridgerator is too small and already occupied with ”mini bar” stuff, so I couldn't cool down the drinks I got from the nearby supermarket in Myanmar Plaza.

The facility was clean and I felt very comfortable. The gym is large, and you can also use the sauna and jacuzzi.
The view of the courtyard and poolside from the breakfast venue made me forget that I was in Myanmar, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time.
However, perhaps because it had just reopened or because there were few guests, the breakfast options were few and poor, and some of the items were used from the previous day and were not delicious.
I was very disappointed because the rating would be halved if the breakfast level was low in a 5-star hotel.
I hope it will be improved in the future.

After having a busy time at work, it is just right to reward me. And, what is the perfect way of doing this is to treat myself to a staycation at ParkRoyal Hotel. The hotel is 5/5 in cleanliness, budget, location, and, most significantly, THE STAFF. The Staff has made my staycation a relaxing and perfect experience. I couldn't say anything negative because they went beyond my expectations as someone who, most of the time, stays in a hotel. The Staff, namely Theint Theint, Thazin, and Zaw of the Reception, Gi Gi of the Lobby Cafe, Alex and Thet Tun of the Concierge, Le Le Win of the Spice Restaurant, and Nanda of the Housekeeping were superbly amazing people who were willing to assist me. On top of that, I have to give credit to Ms. Khin, the reception manager. She was a rockstar in service. Her assistance, from my emails to the check-in, was very smooth. Thank you so much, guys! You are all fantastic hotel staff. Kudos to you! Of course, I cannot ignore that the breakfast was good, the pool was perfect for taking a plunge, and the fitness center was my favorite. Overall, I will keep returning to this hotel because ParkRoyal is Perfect for a Staycation! Thank you, ParkRoyal!

My family was in Wyndham to celebrate our son’s first birthday. We asked the staff to help us with the decorations if possible and they did help us with all the decorations as much as they could. Shortly after, the hotel staff ran the door bell and surprised my family with a complimentary cake for our son. The 4 staff who came to surprise us Yee Mon Kyaw, May, Phillis,Myint Myint, my family would like to sincerely thank you all for your effort and kindness. During my travels across 16 countries and living in two, I have to say that Pan Pacific Yangon stands out as the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Its location is ideal, conveniently connected to a mid-sized shopping mall, and the in-room amenities and facilities are top-notch. Unlike some “lazy” five-star hotels, the gym, spa, and swimming pool are exceptionally well-maintained and managed. The breakfast service was a real highlight – each day offered new and varied dishes, and despite having breakfast there four times, I never got bored.
However, what truly set this experience apart for me was the people. The staff were always smiling, patient, and consistently went out of their way to help me, making the stay all the more enjoyable. I believe this speaks not only to the hotel’s brand culture but also to the warm and optimistic nature of the Myanmar people themselves. Their kindness left a lasting impression on me. To everyone at Pan Pacific Yangon, I sincerely wish you all the best and hope you stay safe during these challenging times. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, where I can say “Mingalaba” once more!

During my stay, I was deeply impressed by the service attitude of the hotel staff. Both the welcome reception and the room service are very good. The room is very well designed and has many smart things. It also has its own refrigerator. The staff are professional, well-trained and friendly. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. The rooms are comfortably and in good repair. There are many dining options and the food is delicious

RRicardoBowieGreat hotel close to the airport and reasonably close to town. The hotel has shops/restaurants and easy access to both downtown and the airport. Stayed 1 night after arriving in Yangon. The hotel is very slick, well run and professional. Check in was easy and straightforward. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. There is a bar and coffee shop serving Lavazza coffee and other guest services too. The room service menu is good and spa services are very reasonable too. The room was very clean and had a nice, modern over sized bathroom. Although breakfast starts at 6, the restaurant is functioning and fully operational by 5.45. I was leaving to catch an early flight and managed some breakfast before leaving. A big thank you to reception and the chefs/breakfast staff for being very organised. Overall a good stay in a decent hotel. Would recommend.

GGuest UserAmazing stay at this hotel. Although I only stayed for a night, I had the best experience ever. 1) I was early, reached at 0930. The hotel offered me early check in at no cost! I was shocked. Other hotels always charged even if the room is available. How generous! 2) From front desk to cashier, to restaurant and door man, everyone was all smiles and speaks good English. Genuine smiles and sincerity made me feel so welcome and at home 3) The restaurant staff was very attentive and he speaks good English too and was checking if I needed a coffee or an egg. It wasn't what he said but how he said it 4) The door man is a senior uncle..He is always greeting me with very warm smile. Last night I got back to the hotel at 8.30pn and now at 7am, he is on duty again! I must give him a tip when I depart. 5) The location is fantastic. Near to Shwedagon pagoda and the National Museum. There is also a yummy BBQ restaurant next door, Mr Cow. The room is decent and worth the price. If you don't need a 5-hotel, looking for budget friendly, don't mind it is a little old yet a great experience, come here. I am a very happy guest

GGuest UserGood old hotel with antique atmosphere and courteous service, I liked the room but got dissaponted that the bedsheets and towels are too old and not clean, and it has some more caveats.
The hotel is situated inward corner from the main street and need to call taxi every time just to get out, which is annoying if you want to go around the nearby area. Inside the hotel building there's one convenient store but the front desk never mentioned that and couldn't find it on the day of arrival. The biggest problem is there are so many noisy and dangerous street dogs nearby the hotel and they are barking at every car going in and out from the hotel, and when you try to walk back to the hotel it is really a big threat as they swarm and try to bite you even in the daytime. Those dogs are seriously damaging the hotel access and make the guests uneasy.

Lousy experience ever. No parking assist to assist your car. Very terrible housekeeping. Like a maid at home. No hotel life experience (hk). Dirty and never clean for all 3 days. Forget to throw away the old food in the oven , rotten smell come out. 078 room 100,000 kyats room was quiet old. Air con was very noisy the sleeping room. Banging pulling chairs jumping on 8 th floor. I complained to receptionist no one care. Electricity run out at 9/8/2023 mornings they didn’t run the generator for like 45 mins. Terrible terrible experience. Not recommended especially for foreigners , family and staycation. Only recommended for group and lousy groups. Sorry for HONEST RECIEW !

GGuest UserExcellent breakfast & so much variety to choose & all are delicious. Staffs are very helpful & all are sweet smiles & big heart . I arrived 8 am & they are allowed to check in also . I will keep on coming & thanks for the perfect stay in Yangon . Location is very near by Chinatown & can enjoy a lot of street foods . Steam and sauna also can use at hotel . Thanks for all the staffs for the great hospitality. I will be back again .My favorite spot in Yangon 😍

JJennyvanburikWe stayed 4 days in this hotel. Punctual airport pick up, check-in, getting us to the room was perfect and smooth. Super friendly staff, amazingly kind owners. We got the colonial wing with a pool view on the second floor. Well kept rooms, quiet and clean. Quality mattress and pillows, soft bed linen. Breakfast was fine with various dishes and fresh fruits. Meticulously maintained fresh seawater swimming pool, the pool staff tended to keep it clean, there was a smoothie bar by the pool. The owner has built a meditation center and we witnessed how the staff uses the meditation center daily, very impressive. Just a 10 minutes walk to many restaurants if you do not want to eat at the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed the relaxing time of two days before we flew out of the country, to our amazement we were blessed with free of charge two total free days when the owner learned that we missed our flight. We have traveled to numerous countries this is the first time that an owner personally attended and showed kindness and hospitality of this caliber. Would recommend this place to anyone who comes in or goes out of Yangon. Unforgettable experience of kindness from the management and a very professional friendly staff. So many sitting areas under the trees by the pool and by the statue of Mother Mary. Well manicured lawn, I saw 100's of Koreans taking pictures as it was a beautiful location to take pictures! We would visit this place again & again!

GGuest UserHOTEL BALMI, After staying with 4 of my family in the HOTEL BALMI for 20 days, my experience in this hotel will not disappear in my life time memories. The rooms are huge, high security for the family, spotless clean, high tech light switch, amazing temperature control (even water for shower), very convenient to access to China Town and with fantastic house keeping team. My favourite activity was having a drink & delicious foods and looking the stunning sun set river view from roof top restaurant that is smashing. On the roof top restaurant, Opposite of the river view, I can even see the Shwe Dagon Pagoda (the greatest landmark of Myanmar), WHAT A GOOD LOCATION IS. All the staff are well trained professional in their rows, very polite and willing to provide their relevant services to the guests at anytime even in the 2:00am. My favourite staff are Patrick (F&B Supervisor) Shine Ko Ko (F&B Captain) Zin Ko Khant (F&B Service) Tin Win Aung (Bartender) Thura Maung ( Operation Manager) Than Naing Lin (Bell Boy) Soe Aung (Night Security) Then, I celebrated my 43rd birthday party at the HOTEL BALMI roof top restaurant. All the decorations, live music, foods & drinks managed by restaurant manager Patrick & team. My birthday party was my best party I have ever had. All my family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We strongly recommend to stay at HOTEL BALMI whatever the reason in Yangon, Myanmar.
