Getting there at first was a little far from everything, and the bellboys did not help with our luggage and seemed to have an attitude. However, everyone else at the hotel was fantastic. Banyan is one of my favorite brands and I loved staying there in Bali, and Bangkok. However this Banyan felt a little off, the breakfast took us a while to get a table and once we sat down a waitress told us in Chinese to “hurry up and eat quickly”, since breakfast ends at 10:30, it was only 10am when we got seated. Otherwise, The views are fantastic here, I feel like the rooms could’ve been a bit bigger but otherwise everything else was fine.

I've been to Yangshuo twice before, all in a hurry. This time I brought my family together and the family had a great time. This time the homestay is overdue beyond my heart. The decoration inside is simple and warm. 3 of the 4 rooms are two beds, and one is a bunk bed. It is especially suitable for families with children. The outside of the homestay is straightforward. There is a small road less than 1 km to the Li River, where the locals swim and wash their clothes. There are also two swings next to the homestay, a children’s play facility. It is also a pleasant enjoyment to go to the rooftop in the summer evening. Before I came, I told the owner of the hotel about the arrival time in advance. The owner made tea and waited for us. The people followed and (we had a few cups for dinner in the evening) and a beautiful little daughter played with our children! Very nice family! Anyway, I think it is worth to come again!
