The hotel is like home as always. Services by Joss was very efficient and helpful. Brain had a good arrangement for the sightseeing. Will recommend more friends to go.

I had an incredible experience at this spa hotel! The zoo on the property was a fantastic addition and I loved being able to see the animals up close. The breakfasts were delicious and there was a great variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere at the hotel was so relaxing and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I left feeling rejuvenated and satisfied with my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. 管家Chad非常专业热心，给了我们很多帮助，一次非常棒的体验！

My family and i went to going on a short trip in guilin yangshuo place and we stayed from 4 to 6 day in Banyan’s tree hotel. When we arrived at hotel Ms Rihanna who is manager gave us a warm welcome. There was a lot of people who waited check-in but she helped us quickly, so we could do it. And we exchanged wechat ID and she let us know when we need help through wechat. Breakfast quality was really good. So base on positive response we were able to finish the trip with good memories

Very disappointing overall. Expected much more from a premium resort such as Banyan Tree. Hardware of the hotel is not bad and location is nice too (except terrible traffic in & out due to congestion). It is the hotel “software” that really disappointed us. It’s ineffectively managed: chaotic and messy scenes everywhere. Peak touristy season is partially to blame, but poor management need to bear most of the responsibility. Many staff seem to be new recruits and lack in basic training. Activities offered by the hotel are charged so much more than local standards, yet services provided cannot keep up with the hefty fees as hotel outsources these activities to contractors without proper quality control. Breakfasts time feels like a war zone in this premium resort: it’s loud and chaotic. I saw many angry guests questioning the staff on why they had to queue while there were plenty seats available for seating. Overall, a premium resort price/amenities with budget hotel service.

Wonderful hotel, like a Chinese village. We stayed in river front villa with great view to the river and the mountains. During out stay only one restaurant works and the room service. so food options are quite limited for few days stay. Most of the stuff doesn't speak English. But they are really trying to help, very friendly. .

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is very nice and the staff were friendly. In particular, I would like to give compliments to Chad and Sophie, who were friendly, approachable, personal and flexible. In particular, Chad assisted me in sourcing hotels for the remainder of my trip to Guilin as Guilin was affected by the floods. Sophie was also accommodating to our needs.

Great hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. We were there to celebrate our special day and the hotel staff was very helpful in trying to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would particularly like to mention Joss Qin as she paid attention to small details which made a big difference. I would certainly recommend all my friends to stay at this hotel in Yangshuo.

Awesome stay Nora and the team looked after us really well! Great preparation for the welcome surprise in our room and numerous amenities were provided. The grounds are amazing so is the food in the Chinese Restaurant! Please pay attention to the swimming pool cleanliness otherwise a flawless stay with special attention and recognition provided by Nora! She is a real asset to the Banyan Tree Yangshuo. We will be back again next year.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel very much. The scenery in the surrounding was excellent. The free activities provided were also fantastic, including the free ride on the river, photographing service with costume, feeding the animals, handicrafts, etc. The staff was extremely friendly. Special compliment should go to Joss, who proactively provided us with all the information we needed and stayed in contact with us throughout our stay to make sure we were alright. We will definitely recommend friends to stay in the hotel. Suggested improvements: more variety in the type of cuisine/restaurants, more frequent shuttle bus to major scenic spots.

We had an excellent stay in Banyan Tree Yangshuo. The hotel is beautifully designed and blend in well with the Karst mountains. All the staff were warm and friendly. The Chinese restaurant and buffet breakfast restaurant serve good varieties of delicious food. Due to bad weather, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner in hotel but didn't get bored. One of my friends stayed in Banyan Tree Yangshuo last month and recommended the hotel to us. She also introduced me to the Spa & Gallery manager Alisa in WeChat. Alisa arranged everything for us before our trip. Due to bad weather, we changed our travel plan and arrived hotel one day late. Alisa applied an upgrade for us with our extra night payment. We were upgraded to Imperial Retreat Villa which is quant and superbly decorated with nice garden and a round bathtub. Exactly what we need to wind down from our busy city life. Thanks to all the staff in Banyan Tree Yangshuo and especially to Alisa. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Yangshuo next time.
