Yangshuo Li river resort

Thanks to Li river resort for a wonderful stay. Although the hotel is a bit outdated we have enjoyed our room, the service and the food. Unfortunately couldn’t use the pool because of the rain. One of the best things of the hotel is friendly, cooperative English speaking staff that made our experience smooth and pleasant. The staff had prepared a birthday cake for us in advance, it was very nice and besides they helped us to book a private day tour. We hope to come back again.

★★★★★ I had an excellent stay at Li River Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yangshuo. The location is fantastic if you are looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat. The resort is situated about 1.6 km from West Street, far enough away from the crowds and noise to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, yet still close enough to reach the town easily. One of the highlights of my stay was the swimming pool. The view of the surrounding karst mountains is absolutely stunning and creates a truly relaxing atmosphere. It is the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very reasonably priced. I also appreciated the traditional Chinese design and style of the property, which gave the resort a unique character and sense of place. What impressed me most, however, was the staff. Their English was excellent, which made communication effortless. They were always friendly, professional and extremely helpful when it came to planning excursions and activities. What I particularly appreciated was that I never felt pressured into booking anything through the hotel. The staff were happy to explain different options, recommend attractions and suggest where to book activities such as bamboo raft trips, but it felt like genuine travel advice rather than a sales pitch. This honest and personalised approach was refreshing and greatly appreciated. As an independent traveller who is comfortable using local apps such as Alipay and Didi, I found this hotel to be the perfect base for exploring Yangshuo and the surrounding area. Excellent value for money, beautiful surroundings, wonderful staff and a truly relaxing atmosphere. A well-deserved five-star review.

The hotel staff are very friendly and quite helpful. We were very impressed their breakfast and their rooms were all up-to-date. We have no complaints whatsoever. We got very nice food and the rooms the beds the pillows the air condition and the cleanliness is up to the mark, we would recommend this for families and we will definitely come back and stay at the same hotel again

Other than location. Nothing special in this hotel. For from the town. Especially night it is very scary to reach the place. No breakfast.
