Yangshuo Molan Mountain Residence Ancient Architecture Cultural Homestay (Yulong River Scenic Area)

Molan Mountain Residence is perfectly suited for those looking for peace and tranquility. A stay here is like travelling back to a time of culture and simplicity. The ancient architecture, prestine greenery, birds, fish, butterflies come together and relax the mind and body! Adding to all this are the staff who ensure every moment is greeted with a smile supplemented with endless assistance in every matter. Such greats chats, discussions and debates each time! I would happily rate them 11 had that been an option. A special thanks to Vivian, Sophia and the owner Richard who all made us so much at home during our stay. Keep it up!

It's a very pleasant and cozy place. The staff is very attentive and caring. Julia and Sofia are very friendly, they helped us with the purchase of tickets for various activities. Very pleasant impressions of the place and the people there.

This boutique hotel is perfectly located between Yangshuo downtown and the River Li and its spectacular landscape. The views in the breakfast room are gorgeous. The room was nice, although a little dark with no view. The breakfast was good but didn't have enough choice and quantity. My friend and I were sick in the stomach for an entire day and night, most certainly after eating a salad for dinner at the hotel restaurant. Those things happen. The staff was helpful, although they could have had a commercial gesture to compensate for the trouble. Nevertheless, I recommend this hotel.

Amazing hotel and garden. I got the cheapest room with the double bed but even I was surprised by how much more beautiful it was in person…my girlfriend and I loved it. Everything is close to the road but It feels so secluded and quiet, you can’t even tell that there is a road nearby. Both Julia and Vivian were amazing hosts and helped with everything we could have needed, making our stay very comfortable. Even when I lost my camera and phone, they both held onto them for me until I returned to pick them up, and gave me medicine when I had a stomach ache. Next time I go to Yangshuo, I will absolutely stay here again.

Probably the best hotel, in the world. The best location - beautiful scenery, away from the craziness of Yangshuo town centre. The friendliest staff, they couldn’t have helped out more. The most peaceful and quiet rooms. We will miss this special place.

We had an amazing stay - the staff - Julia, Sophia, Richard and everyone - all helped make our stay very special. The hotel is nestled in a small town close to the Yulong River making it super easy to explore the local area by bike or scooter. For day trips further afield they will organise a car and driver. The hotel is immaculate and the gardens and pool are wonderful - especially in March when the flowers are blooming. Highly recommend this part of China and this gem of a hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel, but more importantly, the staff is absolutely incredible. We were sick, and they have provided everything we need, we felt at home and secure. They have also arranged for us so many amazing activities, I would 100% recommend.
