Crowne Plaza YANGZHOU by IHG

I was very satisfied with the two rooms arranged; it was a great way to host guests. Thanks to Zhu Qing for the arrangements; she understood the importance of hosting guests. Her attentiveness during our stay and follow-up after checkout were both excellent. Finally, she also helped with the invoice, which was very considerate.

The Crowne Plaza by the canal boasts a strong new-Chinese, light luxury ambiance. The river view room offers superb vistas, and the room is clean with well-maintained hardware. Breakfast has many highlights, with freshly made noodles that are authentic and delicious. Service is prompt, and the concierge and front desk staff are friendly. The accompanying pool and gym are great for relaxation, and it's not far from the high-speed rail station, making it convenient for taxiing to various attractions. It's excellent value for money, suitable for both leisure and business.

Facilities: Very good. Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are well-maintained, almost like a new hotel. Hygiene: Feels clean. Environment: Very close to the canal, easy to get a taxi, and there are restaurants nearby. Service: Decent. Breakfast: Abundant.

The room was clean, tidy, and spacious enough, fitting the InterContinental standard. The front desk manager was very nice; when we had an unexpected friend join us, they quickly arranged an extra bed and even offered complimentary fruit and drinks.

The hotel is conveniently located near Yangzhou East Railway Station, about a 10-minute taxi ride away. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Doormen proactively help with luggage, and the front desk staff are very welcoming. They even assisted with my check-out when I couldn't make it back to the hotel in time due to sightseeing. The Chinese restaurant on the third floor serves authentic food, and the breakfast is abundant. It's also super easy and affordable (around 10 yuan) to get a taxi to Dongguan Street, Slender West Lake, and the Grand Canal Museum. I had a very satisfying stay and would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel lobby is quite spacious, and upon check-in, we received a complimentary drink voucher for the lobby bar per person. The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room wasn't very effective, and it felt a bit stuffy and warm.

The tea bags in the room were delicious. While the facilities are a bit dated, overall it was a good stay. The shower had great water pressure, making for a comfortable experience. The housekeeping initially missed a few items during the first cleaning, but the subsequent service was very enthusiastic. Special thanks to the lounge manager, Zhu Qing, and the lovely lounge attendant, Wang Min.

The hotel facilities are excellent, clean, and hygienic. What's particularly noteworthy is the comfortable surroundings, making it very suitable for a vacation. The Chinese restaurant serves authentic Huaiyang cuisine at reasonable prices, and the service is spot on. Definitely worth staying here.

Our family had a wonderful trip to Yangzhou in March, and the Crowne Plaza Yangzhou was perfectly located in the bustling Guangling District, making it super convenient to get around. The hotel management seemed professional, and our stay was pleasant. Parking was easy, and although some of the facilities showed their age, it was clear that cleanliness and service were top-notch. The swimming pool, sauna, and gym were all great. The only minor drawback was that the complimentary tickets for the Zhuyu Zoo were limited to two per room, regardless of the number of guests. This meant some of our family couldn't go for free, which felt inefficient and probably hurt the hotel's intended marketing impact.
