Yantai Fushan District 5-star Hotels

The hotel is located right on the beach. Very beautiful. Hotel is a bit dated. Rooms were nice but older furniture and carpets. There was only one electricity plug next to bed and it didn’t work. When we checked in and went to the room, the room keys wouldn’t work, so we had to go back down to the front desk, and they just assigned us to the room next door. The worst part was that the room was extremely warm, 28 Celsius! I called the front desk and they sent a maintenance worker to “look” at it. But the AC was broken. Instead of putting us in a different room with a working AC, the hotel brought a swamp cooler to our room. The swamp cooler was extremely loud, but it did cool the room down for the night. But the next day, the room was hot and we checked out early because we simply were not enjoying ourselves. We also wanted to order room service, but the hotel didn’t have the items in the menu available that we wanted :(. I ordered a hamburger, but it was gross. There are many nice hotels to stay at in Yantai. The Sheraton used to be one of them…

My girlfriend and I had such a good time here for one night. It is very close to the beach with a breath-taking view and we enjoyed the breakfirst served here. I really enjoyed jogging as it is right next to the running path.

We initially booked a room from 27-31st July, but then decided to extend our stay with one day. Unfortunately our seaview room was unavailable so we had to change to another room. We had a lovely stay! Thank you .

Facilities: I booked a sea view room, and I can indeed see the sea. Just across the road is the Golden Beach, and my husband can go for a run when he gets up in the morning. This room type can watch the sea while soaking in the bath. There is a laundry room on the 6th floor, with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. It was the end of August when I came here, and the peak season has passed, so I can basically use the washing machine if I want to use it. The hotel also provides laundry detergent and disinfectant. It would be even better if the usage time can be extended to 10:30 in the evening. The decoration is relatively new, and the facilities are satisfactory. Hygiene: The toilet has a smart toilet cover, which is better. The room is cleaned by the aunt every day, and there are notes for us every day, reminding us of rain and other matters, which feels very warm. Service: Every day when we meet the hotel staff, we will greet each other. The cleaning aunt leaves a note every day and even leaves laundry detergent for us. We are used to washing clothes every day, so we asked the front desk for a drying rack to hang the dried clothes, and it was delivered to the room immediately. One day I was waiting for my husband to drive over at the door. The little brother at the door thought I didn't have an umbrella, so he enthusiastically stepped forward to ask and offered to provide it. On the last day of departure, the cleaning lady gave us a small gift bag containing milk, apple, mineral water and alcohol wipes for us. We forgot that there was a set of quick-drying running clothes in the laundry room dryer, so we contacted the front desk, and they found it for us and sent it back, hehe. Environment: The hotel is right next to the golden sand beach, only about 1.8 kilometers away from the big whale sculpture. You can take a walk to catch the sea every morning, and it is also great to take a walk in the evening to watch the sunset. There is a nucleic acid testing booth next to the parking lot, which is very convenient. Going south through the park path next to the Nucleic Acid Pavilion, there is a residential area. If you continue walking on Yanhuashan Road, you can find some restaurants (search Dianping). This living area can provide three meals a day, as well as large and small supermarkets. In general, choosing this hotel this time feels like picking up a treasure. The first time I came to Yantai, I left a very good impression. Although it costs money to stay in a hotel, it still feels like a waste. The paper was not replenished in time. One pair of slippers was obviously worn out. It was already dirty and covered with paper as a new slipper and put it in the slipper compartment. This is very speechless. One more thing to pay attention to: the buffet is only open from Friday to Sunday. Usually not. We checked in from Thursday to Friday afternoon. We asked about the buffet from the front desk. We asked three times. Dianping said it was great. When we checked in at the front desk, we already said that we wanted to eat the buffet, but no one told us that the buffet needs to be booked in advance! It wasn't until 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday that I went to the front desk to ask about the buffet and said that I wanted to make a reservation. At that time, the seats were already full, and a beautiful manager called to add more seats to eat. When I was eating the buffet, I saw several waves of guests bringing their families. I didn't know that I had to make a reservation until I was at the door, so I left disappointed. One of the concierges said it might not be Thursday, let's get someone else to check? A staff member in a hotel is too unfamiliar with the special catering of his hotel. The swimming pool has a constant temperature of 28 degrees, which is very comfortable. Go swimming during the day, the sea is boundless outside, the water quality is clear. I hope Westin in Yantai pays attention to details and gets better and better! will come again next time.

Second time staying at this hotel. Came back because it was so good last time. It's located in the Yantai Economic Development Area, so good access to Golden Beach area and many Korean restaurants. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Free guest laundry is a great bonus. Breakfast is good with wide choice. Hotel was very busy because of the national holiday but the kitchen staff did an AMAZING job keeping all the dishes refilled at breakfast. Coffe shop on the top floor is nice with lovely views. All in all, good value for money. Would stay here again.

It is suitable for bed-sharing parties with two children. The bedding is good, and it is very comfortable to sleep on. 3. Adjacent to the scenic spot, there is a pedestrian commercial street next to it, which is very lively, and it is not a problem to go shopping and eat. 4. The layout of the public area and restaurant in the hotel lobby is very modern and comfortable, and the breakfast is okay. 5. The bottled water provided by the hotel is free to take, which is generous enough. insufficient: 1. The water flow in the shower is average, which should not be reasonable. The sink is external, and the shower room is transparent. The activities of the child after falling asleep are limited; 2. The family view room I stayed in actually has no view. The platform outside the room is not a balcony, but the extension of the stairs is directly facing the road. I didn’t go out after seeing it when I checked in; 3. Although I didn't drive, it should take a little trouble to park visually. To sum up, the overall feeling is that it belongs to the standard business hotel style, and the price/performance ratio is not bad. It is a good choice for sightseeing in scenic spots based on this.

來煙台自駕遊，住在金沙灘附近的新時代酒店，來之前瞭解過隸屬中國人民解放軍總裝備部，是按五星級酒店建設的。 優點：①酒店外觀的確可以稱為煙台開發區的地標，非常大氣；②停車位很多，而且不收停車費；③服務非常好，有求必應，達到了五星級酒店的標準；④訂的家庭海景套房，房間挺大，景觀不錯，在房間就可以能看到金沙灘和碧海藍天，而且真的很安靜。 缺點：①酒店有五星級的外觀和服務，就是房間的硬件該維護或者更換下了，剛入住的時候衣櫃的門壞了，貼心的換了一間房，然後新房間電視打不開、保險箱沒電，好在服務確實響應及時，全都快速來修好了；②wifi不行，時快時慢，問前台説慢的時候連可以別的房間，倒是解決了，但這換來換去也麻煩；③毛巾太厚，擰不動。。。 但有一説一，這家酒店住了五天總體是很滿意的，尤其很安靜，特別契合度假，到海邊也很近，還是非常推薦的。
