Pros: Good size room, which was clean and comfortable. Porters, waiters and housekeeping very friendly. Great sea view. Small private beach Cons: Not 1 member of staff speaks fluent English. Which means you can't get any assistance. Hotel looks a bit tired. Pool area very dirty, cigarette butts, cotton buds etc around poolside. Most sunbeds have no cushions available. All inclusive is not worth the money, very limited drinks. I don't drink alcohol or soda, so had water all week as no juices or mixers. Food in restaurant not labelled so no idea what you were eating and noone to ask as noone speaks English. Avoid asking for a sea view as these rooms are all above the nightclub, which is supposed to finish at 2am but was still blaring til 3.30am most mornings. Food very samey, I'm not a fussy eater but struggled to stay 'excited' probably had 2 really good meals in 10 days. We were the only British people in the Hotel, mostly North African and clearly catered for them. We had 6 days in which the hotel/dining rooms were overrun with guests attending conferences. Would definitely not recommend for a relaxing holiday. Would not recommend the Yasmine Hammamet area. Go to Sousse I hear it's great there ☺️

It was our worst stay. The beds were torn and dirty, dust and dirt everywhere. There was mold in the bathroom. The toilet leaked, our air conditioner also leaked. The amateur repairman repaired it by turning it off, which was really great at 35 degrees. The behavior of the staff didn't help. They already wrote in the arrival forms that we are of Russian nationality, we are Czechs. We discovered this by accident while exchanging money at the reception. After the warning, there was zero apology, rather they were having fun with it, and on top of that, the annoying team of would-be animators shouted provocatively at us in Russian. Food disgusting. Small selection, no taste even if you have all-in, so drinks for breakfast are 2 chemical juices, 1 watermelon juice, 1 tap water. For lunch and dinner you have to ask for it, and the staff walks between you and pours when you want a second glass, they are annoying. 2dcl glasses and cups are ready for all drinks. The sea is beautiful, but the beach is not maintained and dirty. After finding the glass in the sand and alerting the staff, we were told ”it was a tsunami”. In the beach bar, you pay extra for everything except basic drinks. The pools were also not maintained. Avoid this hotel, it's a waste of money.

I'll call this 4.5 stars rounded up. I was here for a business trip, so will also mention the aspect of having a meeting at the Russelior. ROOM: I'd give my room 4 stars. It was super comfortable. I was fortunate to have a small balcony, and sat out there almost every day after breakfast to read for a bit before needing to go to work. I requested cleaning several times (not every day), and was very happy with the job they did with that. The bathroom and WC are like what one would find outside of the US -- shower, bath and sink in one place, toilet in the other. I agree with a review I read that the WC is funk because of how the door is placed; it's challenging to close the door. Cons in the room: Lighting is very low, especially in the bathroom. I imagine this is to hide the fact that some upgrades are needed in the bathroom -- but everything worked and was clean. DINING ROOM: There are tons of options at every meal, including authentic Tunisian dishes. Staff: 500 stars. What a lovely group of individuals! Aside from preparing and serving dishes, they taught me a bit of Tunisian every day. I wasn't just greeted politely at each meal, I was treated warmly. They recognized me, and by day 3, I'd come in to breakfast and they knew which table I was making a bee-line for; they'd be ready with coffee the way I like it, etc. Great senses of humor and wonderful service. The food is seafood heavy -- and the staff remembered I have a seafood allergy, so they'd point to the dishes I could have each day. They put a range of salads out as well. RECEPTION/OTHER STAFF: Wonderful. The front desk team was very helpful throughout the week. The hotel was spotless, and we saw people cleaning at all hours of the day. BUSINESS SETUP: We had reliable WiFi the whole week. We used a smaller meeting room, and again, the staff brought everything we needed. Tech was super easy to use. They came to clean when we were on breaks. Overall really good. I didn't experience the spa or the pool -- it was too cold to be outside by the pool, and we were too busy to take advantage of the spa! But if I am able to get back to Tunisia, I think I'd stay here again. [ONE THING: This is about Tunisia, not about this hotel -- but I wasn't prepared for how many people smoke cigarettes here. The hotel rooms are non-smoking, but people smoke on their balconies, as well as outside on the pool level. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, I'd recommend you tell reception that when you make a reservation so they can hopefully get you to a room that isn't over a gathering area!

Perhaps due to the off-season, the hotel is very cost-effective, including three meals. The quality of the meals far exceeded expectations. The facilities are a bit old, and although the staff is not enthusiastic, they are very efficient.

I was spent 8 unforgettable days in this georgious 5* hotel. The room, the staff, the food, the beach everything was just perfect. The hotel is very clean, every area has cleaned daily. The food is amazing. There is very good espresso , you may choose to make yourself an Italian espresso ( capsule) or to order whatever coffee do you prefer ( no extra fees) The wine and cocktails are very good. I definitely recommend .

The hotel environment is first-class and the sea view room price is very favorable. It is recommended to stay. The only unpleasant thing is that when checking in, the receptionist insists that you send him a confirmation email for the reservation. This is very strange. No hotel has such a requirement, and giving him a screenshot of the reservation is not enough.
