From the counter staff to the bellboy, the cleaners, and the cafe staff, everyone was kind. It is a place where you can know what kind of person you are without meeting the boss. All the staff were comfortable and attentive to the service. All the staff helped me like a baby hahahahahaha The room was fine too. However, you must bring your own toiletries. There was a private pool and beach, so I had a leisurely time. Breakfast was also delicious. The staff was so friendly that I wanted to come back again.

If you book an annex room dont expect ıt to be wıth the maın hotel on the beach . It ıs across a road set back from the car park where the cleaners have theır cıgarette breaks . Rooms are filthy and bathroom hand basin is inaccessable unless you are a sıze zero or step ınto the showerto reach ıt . (Shelf fıxed behınd the bathroom door. Not a good ıdea } the door only opens for a 4 ınch spaceto get through . Booked half board . Evenıng meal you dont get a choıce you have what ıs put ın front of you wıth a glass of tap water. (Not good for vegetarıans or allergy sufferers . I was told to buy somethıng from the snack bar or have bread. Breakfast very nıce and plentiful ın buffet style but only on the days the staff decıded to open not even the snack bar was open for a cup of coffee the mornıng we checked out. No hotel entertainment at night if you want somethıng to do other than watch turkısh tv. It ıs a 100 lira taxı ride 15 mınute drıve to the harbour side of town for any kind of nightlife or restaurant/cafes . Ive stayed ın many hotels ın turkey and melis is by far the worst and unwelcoming. Nothıng lıke as advertised. Only good point was there were plenty of vacant sunbeds even peak season. And the sunset over the beach was beautıful

I have a complaint about the service quality of Melis Hotel Kuşadası, where he stayed between 15 - 19 August 2022. My complaint to them. I am extremely complaining about the quality of the food at the hotel where we stayed as half board. Even if it is half board, the main course and soup menu are optional in the hotel culture. The quality was even lower than our workplace food. We had lentil soup for 2 days at the hotel where we stayed for 5 nights. On the last day, I asked for an alternative soup, stating that my son did not eat lentil soup, and when the husband said that they could not make it in the kitchen (which is 2.5 years old, my son does not eat the main meal except soup), we left without eating, voicing my complaint. I stayed at the same hotel last year and we did not have such problems. At the same time, foreign customers enter the pool with their inflatable bird versions, an adult man pulls the inflatable bird out of my son's hand. The hotel customer, who owns a flock of birds, was not warned and we could not use the hotel pool with my son because of the inflatable birds around the hotel pool. We have never been satisfied with the hotel, the cleanliness, the condition of the room, even the toilet seat was broken, the beach was polluted and the sea was so full of algae that I couldn't swim, it was the worst holiday I've ever been on. 15 - 19 Ağustos 2022 tarihleri arasında konakladığı Melis Hotel Kuşadası'nın hizmet kalitesinden şikayetim var. Şikayetim kendilerine.

As always we have been well looked after by the friendly staff at this lovely little hotel in a beautiful setting right on the beach. With two swimming pools and a few steps down to the sea, you are spoiled for choice when swimming. Would highly recommend

I booked an annex but they wouldn't give me it, there was a separate building 200 metres down across the road which they were putting me. I had to pay an extra £100 to get staying inside the gates of hotel. Breakfast terrible, bed like a brick . Not a great hotel at all. Staff were OK some nicer than others. The annex I booked they refused to give me unless I paid the extra or else I was being put in a dive down the road. It was dark and trees etc overgrown over tiny balcony. The breakfast was horrible, not even toast. All salads, I lived on an egg and bread for the breakfast for the whole week. Never ever would I recommend this place to anyone. Horrible holiday and it wasn't cheap.

Why did I choose this hotel? We were planning a cruise from Istanbul to Italy and back to Turkey. When I was researching the route, I was drawn to a stop in Kusadasi, the day before sailing to Istanbul. I have long wanted to visit ancient Ephesus, located 20 minutes from Kusadasi. And I began to choose a hotel in Kusadasi. Based on reviews of the cruise, where there was simply Babylonian pandemonium, I realized that after it I would want some solitude. Hotel Melis almost fully meets the requirements of the undemanding holidaymaker. If you need pathos, noise, fun, a party - this is not the place for you! The hotel is small, right on the shore of the Aegean Sea, its own beach, with sun loungers and umbrellas (free). The main thing is that there is no one on the beach, neither in the morning nor in the afternoon - less than a quarter of the sunbeds are occupied. After the resorts where there is a life-or-death struggle for sunbeds, the emptiness of the beach is a joy! The rooms are large, the toilet and shower are also very spacious. The balcony is very spacious. The view of the sea is wonderful, other hotels, evening lights, mountains are visible to the right and left. Quite quiet, sound insulation is good. In the evening, someone is sitting in a bar or on the terrace, you can hear talking - but not very noisy, the music is not loud. Wi-Fi is free, quite decent. On the beach, in the room - it works. The breakfasts were surprising at first - this is not the usual buffet. They cover it without choice, immediately bring an omelet (scrambled egg, egg), potatoes, sausages, vegetable caviar, cheese (2 pieces), herbs, tomatoes, cucumbers (also 2 pieces each), butter, jam, honey, bread. Again, 2 watermelon triangles. You pour your own tea and coffee. Juices too (I didn't like them). Minus - at first there wasn’t enough yogurt or muesli with milk, but then I got used to it. Another minus is the narrow, not very comfortable bed. One. We were on vacation with our daughter - we had to ask for another bed, like a folding bed, which was also not very comfortable. It is possible to have lunch and dinner - everything can be ordered directly in the hotel cafe by the beach, on the terrace. Not cheap. Dishes from 200 to 500 liras (8-20 dollars). The room itself has a TV (no Russian channels), a mini-fridge, and a hairdryer. There is no kettle, cups, or even glasses. At the reception it is written that it is prohibited to bring water and food into the hotel. Very close, 200 meters away, is the Sok supermarket. It's simple, but there is yoghurt, kefir, cheese. There are practically no fruits. You can get to the city center quite easily - at the stop across the road (crossing the bridge), dolmushi (minibuses) number 6 and 7 go to the market, about 15 minutes, payment on the bus is 11 liras. Walking along the market you find yourself in the center, on pedestrian shopping streets, very nice and colorful. The hotel staff is young, very pleasant, ready to help. They speak good English. Overall I liked the hotel. The location is simply exceptional, the sea and the beach are beyond praise. There are no places for entertainment, shops or cafes nearby - this must be taken into account, but who needs anything from their vacation. We felt very comfortable. Taxi to Ephesus and to the airport (Izmir is the closest) - you can go from the hotel.

Hotel advantages: 1st line, free parking space, beautiful restaurant area above the sea, umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, large rooms, basic hotel data. This is all!!! The rest is in the minuses. Cons: NOWHERE is it indicated that the hotel has another building across the road from the sea. Hotel staff claim that standard rooms with garden views fit the category of rooms in this separate building. You will walk from your room to the hotel across the street. There was a bus under the window and the drivers were resting. In the dark, you climb an iron staircase without light to the second floor. When you are in the room, you will hear the thunder of the stairs as other equally unfortunate guests rise. The refrigerator in the room doesn't work, there are old dirty plastic chairs, you can't sit on them, probably last year they were on the balcony. There is also an ashtray, although it is indicated that the hotel is non-smoking. Cold water comes from the shower; after a long time, when the bowler turned on and heated the water a little, the electricity in the room was lost. We arrived late, but before we figured it out we had to go across the road 5 times to the reception. When we were left not only without a refrigerator, hot water, but also without electricity, we were moved to a family room in the main building. The furniture is just as old, but at least not as dirty. The refrigerator was working. The water in the shower also took a long time to drain cold, but in the evening we were able to wash ourselves. In the morning, only one person managed to wash himself; for the second, there was only cold water left, and there was still no hot water before leaving the room. The hotel description on many websites states that there is free tea and coffee. In fact, there is no tea at all, neither free nor for an additional fee. The coffee is the worst, the cheapest Nescafe, for 2 cups of which we were charged 75 liras. For breakfast, a serving is served on a plate: 2 slices of tomato, 2 slices of cucumber, 2 slices of cheese, 1 piece of paper sausage, 9 olives, 1 egg, 10 sticks of French fries and 1 teaspoon (!) of cottage cheese. The hotel staff probably don't know how to smile. When you say a simple thank you, they look away and it doesn’t matter whether you said it in English or Turkish. No reaction. At the reception, when you check in, they send you to another building with a key and don’t explain anything else, not how to connect to Wi-Fi, not where and what time to look for breakfast, nothing at all. This was all shocking, since this was our last hotel in Turkey and the most expensive one booked. But he ruined the impression of the whole trip. In all hotels we communicated and left tips with pleasure. Here you feel like a beggar begging for the conditions for which you paid. And they try to deceive you all the time. Complete deception and no hospitality.

Dirty, neglected and unsafe hotel due to the electrical installations (dryer), I got food poisoning. When we arrived at the hotel the sheets were dirty (with blood) with mosquitoes, the facilities in general dirty. The photos of the buffet breakfast are not real, there is no buffet breakfast, they only serve you on the table a very bad breakfast, I got poisoned from the vegetables they served me. I asked them to tidy up my room and change the sheets and they didn't, there was no toilet paper and they didn't clean the room the next day. Please do not stay at this hotel, you will have a bad experience on your vacation and it may even be dangerous for your health.

We stayed for three nights with 3 sisters. Believe me, the triple room we bought, called garden view, was so small and IT DID NOT HAVE A BALCONY. We had to move to another room by paying the difference. Even water in the minibar is paid. There is zero interest. The women who came for cleaning (but stopped by the door) said to my red-haired brother, "You are using our towels, right, don't use them", I told the staff about this when I left and they said that if our towels are lost, we get paid for it, that's why they said that! I have never seen such nonsense. It is on the Söke road, which is quite far from the center. Those who will go without a car should take this into consideration, and taxi fares per km are very high since it is a holiday resort. The smaller pool was full and the other was empty. Even though the season started, they started filling the big pool the day we left. There was no one around in the evenings, it was literally a dead hotel :) I don't know the food since we bought bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was mediocre, consisting of cheese, olives and dried cucumbers on a small plate. The sea was full of seaweed so we couldn't get in. The only nice thing about it was the view. I don't think I will choose it again!

I have stayed in many hotels before, including low-star hotels, but Melis Hotel was the worst among them. I stayed at the hotel with my family and baby between 18-22 July. First of all, although the hotel check-in time was 14.00, our room was not ready, cleaning had not been done yet, and it was around 16.30 for us to move into the room. As for the room, they said that a building behind the road independent of the main building belonged to Melis Hotel and they placed it there. Upon request, they took us to the main building the next day. When we came to the restaurant for dinner, there was no OPEN BUFFET, we had a serious little shock. When we asked, they said they did not have an open buffet. They prepare and bring the plates themselves, there is only one main course and one or two appetizers or salads. If the main course does not suit you, you will remain hungry, so there is no alternative meal. When we arrived on the first night, we used fruit juices in the beverage section, but when we came to dinner the next evening, everything related to beverages was closed (including water). When we asked, we were told that the manager banned drinks at dinner. They could only give water. Could such nonsense be possible?? I'm not talking about coke, fanta, etc., I'm talking about a crappy water-based fruit juice drink, yes. When we came for breakfast, they brought the plates they had prepared in the same way. I am specifically mentioning the food issue, because when I looked at the comments before coming to this hotel, I couldn't see any comments about the food and my family was aggrieved. If your expectation is open buffet, don't even consider this hotel. Since it was a 5-day holiday, I had prepared and prepared all of my baby's meals. I placed them all in the minibar in our room. After 1 day, all the dishes were foaming. The refrigerator was not working and although they knew this, they did not tell us. When we expressed our complaint, senior management placed an order and said it would arrive in 10 days?! How can you put your guests in a room with a broken minibar in the summer heat? Let's get past that, wouldn't one say from the beginning that the minibar is not working? You are the exact equivalent of my son's statement: "You have wasted all your meals. There is no such thing as a ridiculous hotel. We have been disgraced with our money." By the way, our room did not have a balcony, there was a drying rack in the bathroom. It is not possible to dry your wet clothes, you wear your swimsuit wet again the next day. Coming to the good aspects of the hotel, the cook lady in the restaurant was very helpful for my baby's spoiled food, I thank her again, she prepared the food and tried to make up for it. The employees are really great, respectful people, especially Salih, who helps in everything. Let's see, unfortunately the management has zero understanding of hotel management. I hope those who choose this hotel will read my review from start to finish and will not experience the same grievances as we did. It is not a hotel I will ever come to again or recommend to my relatives.

It would be unfair to call Melis a hotel. It is better to call it a peaceful environment, a center of trust. The door of every room and every step leads to the sea. It was a very serene business with its magnificent view, delicious breakfasts and meals, and friendly staff. I would like to thank Ms. Döndü, one of the veterans, Mr. Salih, and Aybars & Efe, one of the young employees, for their interest. It's a delightful place among the sounds of the waves. We wish you continued success. We will come again. In fact, many of our acquaintances who saw the posts started to investigate. They will choose you. My request to future guests is that you should always ask the staff for whatever you want. There is a team that is focused on getting everything done immediately and tends to get the job done. They are so busy that it may happen that we miss a small thing and they immediately start scribbling it down. It is obvious that this beautiful family has a great business. You'll see when you go. Best regards.

The hotel is generally fresh, clean and tidy, with few people. The room has a cool sea view, a balcony overlooking the sea. The breakfast is excellent, you won't leave hungry. I will mention two drawbacks in my opinion: the sea is so-so...hot water only in the morning and evening. Wifi works well. The staff is very friendly. In principle, I recommend it! The food is not bad, the location is good

This weekend, I had the opportunity to tour Kuşadası, which I missed. There were 2 or 3 restaurants on the seaside sites that I admired, I wanted to visit them, so while I was looking for a hotel in Yavansu, a tourism friend of mine whose experience I trust suggested Melis Hotel... Now let's start from here, the phone number on the official website where you are looking for the hotel. The number shows a call center. This call center handles the reservation, accommodation, sales and marketing of the hotel, but they are not affiliated with Melis Hotel... In other words, it is a kind of broker call center... Where did we learn this? We learned this at the reception when we came to stay at Melis Hotel.. ..because while the call center was reserving a room for us on the land side, we learned that we would be staying in a two-storey residence overlooking the backyard, separate from the main building of the hotel, with an asphalt street passing between.. We said yes, the call center never mentioned this to us on the phone, despite that, two They took our deposit of 342 TL for the night's accommodation, the hotel reception said that we cannot do anything, they are a call center and another company... Well, we agreed to stay there, this time they wanted to take advance payment before the accommodation, what is it, sir, some of the customers who stayed there ran away without paying, So, they started treating all of us as thieves. When I told them that I would convey these to Türsab, the sister at the reception told me that I would not stay if I did not want to, that she would have my deposit refunded, and that it would be better for me not to stay. She said either accept it, or don't complain, go away, don't stay. I mean, he is very hospitable..😉😀 The rooms are terrible, the TV and the telephone do not work, the blinds and mosquito nets do not close, the breakfast consists of junk left over from the evening tavern appetizers, the pools are tiny and completely filled with expat families with children, in short, it is a terrible experience where you will not get your money's worth. You will experience it, don't say let me try Kuşadası Melis Hotel...😡😡

Since I had a one-night stay, I will write briefly and concisely. The hotel is stuck in the 1990s. Even those tiny pools couldn't save the hotel. It's such a weird place. Let me explain; In terms of location, ***et is beautiful, quiet. Even though it is small, it has a beach. Next to sea shore. Sun loungers and umbrellas, for which you do not pay, are at your disposal. If you say the sea, it's not bad. So it will manage. It has a wonderful mossy environment. It doesn't have much waves. The sunset is also beautiful. As for the pools, I don't know how or what to say. They hang out at the hotel in such a tiny, tiny way for the weightlifting kids. They have a depth of around 1.50. You can come in and hang out to cool off and get plenty of chlorine. I couldn't stay in the pool for 3 minutes. Let's come to the rooms, the rooms are a great concept of the 90s. There were 2 sofa beds in our 1 bedroom, 1 living room room. :D I said, what's going on, where are we? The selected furniture is also from 30 years ago. Dude, what is that color? I swear my heart sank. The location of the air conditioner in the room is also a disaster. I'm already stuck with the rusty drying wire on the balcony. I say be careful not to get tetanus. I can say that the breakfast of the place where I stayed with Bed+Breakfast is not bad+. All minibars in the room are chargeable. There is a serious problem with parking. You can park your car on the street opposite the hotel. Oh let me add; When entering the hotel, the price they said on the phone was for the rooms at the back of the hotel. So we were told to go to a completely different building. I said what's the matter? Well, our system is like this. Well then, I say state these, it's bad. I don't think I'll come again... If you have to go, I suggest you choose renovated rooms with sea view. At least you'll think you're in the Maldives with the view :)
