There wasn't a reception, you need to call the hotel in order to check in, and they didn't speak English. Luckily I've learnt some Chinese so I was able to communicate enough to know where to go, but I wouldn't recommend you come here if you can't speak the language because of that. Otherwise, the service was good. The manager was quick to meet us after we did call, helped us out with washing our clothes after we asked for laundromat information, and our towels and water bottles were regularly cleaned and replaced.
The room was really big, but so were the beds so there wasn't too much space. Still, good enough when you're spending most of your days out and about. Air conditioning was good, kept the room cool.
Location is right next to the Yibin West Railway Station, making it easy to hop over to Xingwen to visit the Stone Forest and Bamboo Sea. Yibin city center isn't that far away as well, only a short ten minute Didi ride.
