I stayed here a few years ago, and this time I came back with friends for the Yibin marathon and stayed another night. The breakfast was excellent, and they also offer afternoon tea. "Upon arrival, the doorman warmly greeted us and helped with our luggage. During check-in, the front desk was not only efficient but also considerately upgraded our room type. The bed was perfectly firm, the linens were soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the toiletries were high-quality. The hotel's dining options were also excellent, with a wide variety of breakfast options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, all made with fresh ingredients. The Chinese restaurant's dishes were exquisite and authentic, and the chef was willing to fine-tune the menu to your needs. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool was pristine. The business center was well-equipped and fully equipped for work. Transportation was convenient, with subway and bus stops nearby, making travel easy. "The room facilities are well-maintained, and the room itself is spacious and clean, meeting the hardware standards of an international chain brand. It has everything you'd expect, including large floor-to-ceiling windows, a bathtub, and comfortable bedding. "The first time I stayed at the InterContinental Hotel Huaxuan, I always wanted to experience the environment and service, so I found a friend to help me book a room. Before I checked in, Miss Siri, the housekeeper, contacted me in advance and asked me what time I would arrive at the store. I helped to reserve the room in advance and helped me to write down the check-in needs. The experience after arriving at the store was also super good. The front desk checked in quickly and saved me a lot of time. The room was clean and tidy, and there were tea sets and tea bags. After the meal, you can also have a cup of light tea. Sitting by the window and watching the scenery by the river, it really has a special flavor. "This was my first time in Yibin, and after doing a lot of research, I finally booked this hotel. The free parking was very convenient. The receptionist was very welcoming during check-in and proactively recommended nearby attractions. I was truly amazed when I entered the room; the decor was exactly what I wanted. There was a water dispenser, which was fantastic as it solved my drinking water problem. There was also a mini-fridge, disposable towels, and herbal tea bags – everything was provided. The room was clean and hygienic, and they even gave us a room with a view of the Las Vegas-style globe and the night view across the street – it was absolutely beautiful! It's within walking distance of Daguanlou and Guanying Ancient Street, making transportation very convenient. The breakfast was plentiful and open until noon. They even prepared Yibin's specialty noodles for me when I checked out – the owner is very thoughtful! I've already recommended it to my friends!"

"The rooms in this hotel are the most cozy we have ever stayed in! Each room is full of unique personality and style, and the furniture and facilities are very complete. It really feels like returning home. The window is a large floor-to-ceiling window, which has very good lighting during the day. The curtains are dark, and the shading effect is very good at night (՞ਊ՞)👍. The service is also very good. After checking in, the little sister at the front desk will tell us that there are no consumer goods in the room. Don't worry about using them casually. You can contact the front desk if you need them, and they will be actively solved. The hotel environment is good, there are green plants in the lobby, and the corridors are also quiet and comfortable. The things in the room are neatly arranged and clean, and the facilities and equipment are complete. There is a multi-functional washing machine with drying on the seventh floor, which is very comprehensive. I asked about the conference room, which will be very convenient for business meetings in the future. The environment and style of the restaurant on the fourth floor are really what I like, quiet and elegant, highly recommended"

"While impressive facilities are the foundation of a luxury hotel, exceptional service is truly what sets it apart. The bizarre operations at Siyue have left me questioning if this even happened. On February 7th, I called Siyue and asked if our quadruple room could accommodate five people, and if we could get an extra complimentary 'sightseeing buggy, or something similar.' The hotel confirmed this was possible. However, upon arrival on February 17th, the front desk completely denied it. They did, however, offer to provide the extras initially, stating they'd check the recording later. Up to this point, although the interaction was cold, I felt it was still within procedural bounds. What followed was utterly preposterous. The manager proceeded to cross-reference every single detail with us: 'You understand that the 3-4 person lunch set cannot accommodate additional people, correct?' 'You understand that the in-room minibar items are fixed and cannot be added to, correct?' At this point, we were no longer guests, but rather 'freeloaders,' in the process of re-negotiating a 'scamming' agreement with the 'sheep.' After this 'agreement' was finalized, we waited to check in. Then, something even more unbelievable happened: the manager actually came to me with the recording, pointing out that my phrase 'sightseeing buggy, or something similar' only referred to the sightseeing buggy, and that no other benefits should have been offered. They insisted their front desk was not at fault, but still wouldn't retract the complimentary items they'd given me. My 'benefits' had instantly been reduced to 'charity.' Regarding the ambiguity of 'sightseeing buggy, or something similar,' I used AI to analyze it, and the results are in the picture. I believe sufficient data provides a more just assessment. Moreover, as a hotel, you've already given out these benefits, so your costs won't decrease. Shouldn't the correct approach be customer-centric? Solve the customer's problem first, ensure they have a good experience, and then clarify service standards to avoid similar incidents in the future. I believe this is a principle not just for hoteliers, but for anyone in a service role. Later, after checking into our room, we encountered a hardware issue: the bathroom light wouldn't turn off. It was already past midnight. I called housekeeping, and they said they'd send someone to fix it, but didn't inform me they'd call back to confirm. As a result, they called my elderly parents' room in the middle of the night, waking them up. I believe that when a guest has multiple rooms, a hotel should confirm with the guest before calling at night. Furthermore, the wait time was excessively long; it took forty to fifty minutes for someone to arrive, and there was no communication about the estimated time. Fearing I'd disturb my parents, I stood by the door waiting. The solution offered by the person who finally arrived was to inspect the circuit in my parents' room. I refused, so they opted to cover the toilet glass with plastic sheeting, which I understood. Subsequently, there was no proactive follow-up regarding this issue. I had to call and request a late checkout until 2 PM to compensate for the lost sleep, which the hotel agreed to. Regarding breakfast, it was still scheduled until 10 AM on a public holiday, leading to crowded dining areas, long queues, shared tables, and general chaos. Shouldn't holiday breakfast hours be slightly extended? On a positive note, I must mention the hotel's excellent location right by the ancient town entrance, making exploration and transportation very convenient. The hotel also prepared various small New Year's gifts, enhancing the festive atmosphere and guest experience. Both the rooms and the natural surroundings of the hotel were superb, and my family was very pleased. Finally, I want to reiterate that while hardware is fundamental, service is the soul. Guests are more understanding of hardware issues, but many service-related matters are incomprehensible. It is through service that your hotel culture is truly reflected, directly impacting guests' psychological well-being. For you, for the scenic area, and even for the city, you are the first window through which guests experience the local culture."
