Kings Hotel

Just a 3-minute walk to Yilan Dongmen Tourist Night Market. The quad room even has a small living area. The bathroom doesn't have a separate shower and no bathtub. Breakfast is included, and overall, the value for money is pretty good. We stayed on the 7th floor, a corner room, and the soundproofing was decent; didn't hear much noise.

The location was a bit hard to find. There's a night market within walking distance, not far from Yilan train station. The room was very spacious, but the only drawback was that it had no window. The bathroom window was clear glass and couldn't be opened, so you had to keep the curtain closed. Breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options, and it was the same every day for the two nights I stayed. The staff were lovely and spoke English. The room had a kettle, tea, coffee, and two bottles of water provided daily.

The hotel boasts a prime location, just a 2-minute walk from Dongmen Night Market and a 6-minute walk from Yilan Station. The staff are friendly and responsive, the rooms are well-equipped and comfortable with air conditioning turned on early, and the breakfast at the Sunshine Restaurant on the 9th floor offers stunning views. The breakfast is simple yet delicious. Keqing Hotel is highly recommended. Across the street is a stinky hot pot restaurant, offering good value for money; the owner is humorous and generous, and they even provide extra slices of white pork for guests.
