Yixing Yaohu Hotel

Environment: The environment is excellent, situated in the best location in town, making it convenient to go anywhere. Plus, the hotel provides a shuttle bus for transfers, making it the best accommodation choice when visiting Yaohu Town 😊. Hygiene: The cleaning staff were very diligent and kept everything quite clean. They were also friendly and greeted us whenever we met them in the hallway. Facilities: The facilities are a bit basic, but the drinks in the room are complimentary! Service: Check-in and check-out were very fast. However, the dining options were limited, and the taste wasn't great, probably due to a local style preference. Overall, I'm quite satisfied; it offers great value for money.

I specifically chose Chaxi because I saw it had a balcony and a bathtub. However, the balcony didn't have much of a view, facing the hotel's interior, and it was on the fifth floor in a very secluded spot, directly opposite a large white wall. Also, the comb I opened had broken teeth. Aside from these two points, everything else was satisfactory; the hygiene and facilities were good.

The room was incredibly spacious, clean, cozy, and elegant. Upon check-in, the staff immediately brought a fruit platter. At breakfast, staff members were stationed at every intersection, greeting guests and offering directions. The front desk proactively asked if I was driving, scanned my free parking voucher in advance, and even reminded me to turn off automatic ETC renewal to avoid accidental parking charges. Upon checkout, I was given a small cookie package. Even the cleaning staff warmly greeted guests. A staff member named Lisa promptly provided a travel guide, offering full-service assistance throughout my stay. In short, the facilities, environment, service, and hygiene were all top-notch! 👍👍

Facilities: The hotel features traditional red brick walls and kiln-style architecture, with fully equipped amenities. Environment: Nestled by mountains and rivers, the air is fresh, exuding a江南 (Jiangnan) charm. The 'Water Curtain Show + Fireworks Show' is definitely worth seeing. Service: Warm and attentive, making you feel right at home. Our butler, Lisa, was highly professional and always responded promptly!

Choosing a hotel within the Yaohu Town Scenic Area truly proved to be excellent value. The room was incredibly spacious, with a very logical layout, and the bedding was superb, ensuring a great night's sleep. The hotel itself is quite large, and the back entrance leads directly into the town, making it very convenient to go back and forth for breaks. If needed, there's even a shuttle bus that can take you between key points. My only minor gripes were the limited number of restaurants and the slightly higher prices (though understandable for a high-end hotel within a scenic area). I was especially fortunate to meet the renowned 'Head Butler,' Lisa Kong, whose service was incredibly attentive. From planning my itinerary and room arrangements in advance to my activity schedule, she was absolutely meticulous. She made sure my room was ready as early as possible and promptly notified me once it was clean. When I got a bit lost exploring the town, she immediately arranged a shuttle to pick me up, even reminding me about the 'wish lanterns' and providing some delicious departure snacks. Next time I visit Yaohu, I will definitely choose the Yaohu Grand Hotel again; this level of service makes everything so much more convenient.

The hotel room was great, very clean, and extremely close to the scenic spots. Our butler, Lisa, upgraded our room and promptly sent us a travel guide, which was much appreciated. The evening fireworks show was absolutely beautiful!
