The rooms was clean and comfortable. This hotel has swimming pool at the roof top and has magnificent view during the night. Thank you for the memorable stay and definitely will stay here again when we visit Yogyakarta.
The Atrium Hotel & Resort Yogyakarta

I stayed with a big family for 3 nights for 3 rooms, one of the kids caused stains on the sheets like the photo I attached. When checking out, the hotel claimed the stains were not cleaned and asked me to change a amount of IDR 450,000 for the sheets. I said I'd take it to the outside laundry to clean the stains, because it doesn't make sense there's stains that can't be cleaned. At first the front desk refused to bring the clothes to the outside laundry, but after he discussed with some hotel staff, the front desk allowed to go to the laundry outside by holding my wife's ID. Before lunch, I brought the outside laundry kilos (Ms. Nur) and it turned out that the stains were dry & clean and could be taken before the washing at an IDR 15,000. The night I brought it to the hotel for me to show that it was a stain that he said could not be cleaned by the hotel laundry HAT WITH THE MOST MOST (his claim), turned out to be easily removed by the outside laundry. And took back my ID and my wife arrested. I see the reason maybe between the laundry staff who are not lazy to wash or the hotel who wants to earn advantage by asking for IDR 450,000 damage (30x laundry cost) for a stain. I also listed the price list of hotels if they were broken or gone. Remember the stains in the sheets are catalogated damaged, so those who have children please be careful, spills of stains into the sheets can be discriminated damaged, maybe the stomach bugs are discriminated for damage later. I will never stumble my foot in this hotel again and will never recommend this hotel to anyone. And I'll tell everyone I know this bad experience so that it doesn't happen to them, which the front desk would invite me to it. This hotel has waste my time, giving crap on the sheets that cannot be cleaned, let her guests clean the sheets themselves outside, and try to take advantage of it.

Excellent location. Next road and the road on which the hotel is located has many eateries, coffee shops, souvenir shops. Walkable to all of them. The hotel itself is good. Spacious rooms. We had room (king bed) on the 4th floor. Nice and clean. It has balcony facing the city. The odd numbered rooms are city facing and even numbered are pool facing. The pool water is ice cold all the time ! That wasnt really great. Breakfast was decent - no western/ English fare (no sausage, bacons etc.) Fruits were great, otherwise Indonesian menu in the breakfast. There was pancakes, eggs corner, muffins but similar and standard each day. We stayed for 4 nights. They dont have a 'Earthquake alert system' - there are earthquakes pretty much every day in Yogyakarta. Staff helpful polite and courteous. They have breakfast boxes if you are leaving before 6 am for a flight / anything else. Good stay. Will recommend the hotel.
