First, a complaint about the shuttle bus: if you're planning on night skiing or hot springs, you can just cross this place off your list. Their shuttle stops after 9 PM, while other hotels consider night sessions (BDH night session ends at 9 PM) and run later. Now, let's go day by day: Day 0: Upon check-in, there were cigarette butts on the floor of my friend's room. Day 1: Their ticketing agent messed up, making me wait in the ski lodge lobby for at least an hour. Seriously, I paid for my ski pass! Then, my deposit for the day was also used for someone else's ticket – apparently, they didn't return the ski pass, and my deposit hasn't been refunded yet. Day 2: Called for housekeeping. I can tolerate no daily cleaning, but coming back from skiing at night to an uncleaned room, and having to repeatedly chase housekeeping, is ridiculous. Day 3: Discovered two moldy towels in the washing machine. It was my first time ever seeing such vibrant, aggressively growing moldy green. Day 4: Two of my friends went to return their ski gear. The hotel told them they could leave, only for them to wait in the sub-20 degree Celsius cold for half an hour with no one coming to pick them up. Finally, they were told it was a 'communication error.' I have to ask, do these things happen here every day? Why do so many inappropriate incidents seem less like accidents and more like a regular occurrence??? Maybe it's the busy season, making them hectic, but there are far too many areas for improvement. This is a very immaturely run hotel. Our experience felt like all the issues mentioned above were completely normal, happening daily, and the hotel showed no acknowledgment afterward. Perhaps the fun I had skiing somewhat balanced out all these complaints. And the floor heating in the room was very warm, and the Mijia suite was okay. But I definitely won't be booking here again.
