Tusi Xuanfu (Furong Town Waterfall Store)

Amazing location at the waterfall. The rooms have a traditional feel and is clean, neat and tidy. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They helped us to book cars to and from the train station. They also helped us to work out an itinerary to explore the town and buy tickets for the evening show. They gave us delicious complimentary tea on the terrace with the stunning view of the waterfall.

Very happy with the hotel! It was really nice. The views were very good and so was the food from the restaurant. AC worked OK and the only thing that I think could be presented in the description before going is that it is hard to reach with your own transport. Th hotel has a service which is extra. In order to enter the Scenic view, where the hotel is located, you also need to pay an extra 108 RMB per person. Take those extra amounts into account when planning for the costs of your Furong stay.

Fabulous place. My daughters loved it. Great location. Breakfast and dinner are waterfall view point. The room are lovely. The guys are friendly and helpful. They pick us up and drop to the rail station. Worth the money.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The views are breathtaking, and you can see the waterfall clearly from every angle. I really love the owner here—the service is outstanding. The owner goes above and beyond, just like a true friend, helping with everything from tickets, travel arrangements, to amenities. Most importantly, they respond to messages promptly and even offer free tea, which is delicious. I will definitely come back here and recommend it to my friends. There’s honestly nothing to complain about. Even when I continued traveling to other hotels and faced communication issues, the owner, Tusi, continued to assist me until the very last minute, solving every problem. Truly, thank you so much!

Great location of the waterfall from the courtyard. Rooms are traditional with beautiful wood carvings. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Furong is a relatively small town and this hotel is like 3 minutes walk from the entrance where taxis will drop off and pick up. Some important things to clarify that I was confused about: - Most of the water facing balcony rooms don't have a full view of the waterfall. HOWEVER, from their back patio, there is a full view (see my pic) if you want a good spot to take pictures. - The owner can help arrange rides to and from the train station. It was 20 rmb each way for me. They will also meet you or take you and your luggage to the entrance of the village. As a foreigner, I added them on WeChat and messaged them using translated messages to coordinate. I don't think there is Didi in the area so I recommend this route. - Breakfast consists of noodles and an egg if want (traditional Hunan breakfast), and some plain bread. They also had some sticky rice dessert thing in a steamer. You could drink hot water, instant coffee, or milk. - I know others complained about the rooms being old or not clean, but for what it was, it was fine by me given you're staying in an old village. - I would recommend staying here again if you're checking out Furong for 24 hours.
