I've checked into this hotel for a 2 week stay and I was nervous checking in because of the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. My one bedroom suite was very clean and smelled very clean. So far it has been a pleasant stay. However, the sofa seemed broken. It sunk in the middle as if the springs gave out. Also, there was damage on the fabric probably from cat scratching. But, we expected damage like that being it is a pet friendly hotel. It wasn't too bad. But the sofa slumping pretty severely in the middle has been very annoying. The bathroom was good but they have 2 towel bars that are very poor quality and broke right away. I know it is a Residence Inn but they can have towel bars that don't fall apart. This was very annoying because there was only 1 hook in the bathroom....nowhere else to hang our towels. The pool......I don't know why it isn't opened yet. It had water in it but no one is allowed in the area. Actually, the swimming pool room looks more like a storage area for chairs, large equipment, and other stuff the hotel needs to store. It doesn't look like they are actively trying to get the pool up and running for their guests' enjoyment. The weather was lovely while we were here. So I was looking for ”a” seat or ”a” bench, but there were none outside....NONE. I asked management about if there is a place to sit outside with my dog so I could enjoy the weather. Management said they threw out their outdoor furniture during COVID and are awaiting new outdoor furniture. Really? Since 2020? How about going to Costco or B.J.'s for a bench. Just a suggestion. Fortunately, the Courtyard Marriott, across the parking lot, has an outdoor seating area which we were allowed to use. It was very nice, had a Western exposure and a lovely breeze. The hotel is in a business complex which had many, many lovely areas to walk my dog and relax. Also had some great restaurants in the area. Breakfast......has really gone down hill! The days they had fruit, they only had oranges and bananas. Other days there was nothing! I asked the hostess if they had a banana. She said we have no fruit today, flat out none. No fruit salad, no fruit cups, no apples.....nothing! Muffins/bagels were each individually wrapped which was nice, but the muffins had a funny ”chemical” taste to them. Waffle machine....non-existent. There was a lot of empty counter space in the breakfast area..... I suggest you bring your own food. Coffee was nice and plentiful throughout the day. It has a great laundry room with very new washers and dryers. They accept your credit card and do a good job cleaning/drying without damaging the clothes. $2.50/load. Maid service is every day if you like. If not, you can place your garbage cans and dirty towels outside your door. Daily, there was someone picking it up. They did a really good job keeping the hallways clean. The hotel always smelled and looked super clean. So, all in all, it is a good place to stay for long-term and if you have a pet

On Tuesday, June 7, 2022, my 83-year old mother (who uses a walker), 2 sisters and I traveled 110+ miles by car to attend my uncle's funeral. We stayed at this location 1 night in an accessible room. I was unable to drop my mother off at the entrance of the hotel due to repairs being made to the front of the hotel (they were repaving the front entry driveway). We needed a luggage cart to carry our belongings inside the hotel; one cart was in use, and the staff was unable to locate another cart. While checking in, a heavyset man behind the front desk explained that there would be a $100 hold placed on the credit card used online to pay for the stay in case we ordered something from the lobby convenience store or other. I asked ”other” like what? He said if something is wrong in the room after we checkout. I explained to him that my mom, sisters and I (we're all OVER 50 years old) are here to attend her brother's funeral the next day. I assured him that we had no intentions to do anything wrong to the room. He said after we checkout, the $100 hold would be released on the credit card within 3-5 days. As of this writing, it's been 1 day since checkout and the $100 hold is still on the credit card. We paid for our stay online in advance, and nowhere during that process were we advised that there would be a $100 hold place on the credit card. If the $100 hold is standard policy at Hampton Inn & Suites, this policy should CLEARLY be stated while making online reservations. Had we been advised of this $100 hold in advance, we certainly would NOT have made a reservation at this location. I hated that we had an additional unexpected expense at this location during our bereavement. As a repeat customer, I expected better from Hampton Inn & Suites. I'm very disappointed.

An awesome place. I had to call for extra pillows and they were delivered right away! The breakfast was great and the room quiet and clean. We had to travel for a funeral and the staff, especially a tall guy who worked at late afternoon on Aug 21 made sure we had everything we needed and listened to our concerns, which weren't many but truly listened and took action. I didn't know his name, but he was wonderful, a real asset to your company!

Hotel health and facilities are good. Next to it is a shopping plaza. The air-conditioning outlet was a bit noisy, and the room was changed like this, and I ended up sleeping with earplugs. The black milo next door was noisy and smoked on the first night, the sound insulation was not very good and the smell of smoke reached my house. Relatively bad. Then the hotel's cleaning work is not 24 hours.
