Emerald Residence

The room we booked is clean and spacious. However there is some stain in the bedsheet.

Everything about this stay is shite. We travelled from galahiels and my family came from India, we booked for 4 adults, 1 double bed and 2 single bed to stay together but got 1 single bed and 1 double bed as in they considered everything for 3 including complimentary. Bathroom flush doesnt work, door is for name sake, heater doesnt work, no proper manager to be available to answer our inconvenience, and they offered to give compensation as a extra room upstairs which doesnt have a washroom also, on rejecting that, they told they would provide partial refund after an hour of trying to contact them inspite of that we havent received any confirmation, nor refund and its already our check out time. It is totally unhappy about this stay service.

Amazing customer service, very comfortable bed, all clean. Although it was a small room, it felt very cozy and the house feels like you are a guest visiting a distant relative. The view was gorgeous and great location too!

The location was really quiet but not too far from the city centre.

There was a little incident when arriving, but in the end we were able to spend the night smoothly😜

This residence is very close to the bus stop, clean, and close to the University of York. The neighborhood is also comfortable. I would recommend this accommodation to my friends if we ever visit York again.

spacious, clean, nice ambiance, you get complimentary shampoos and soap, water and coffee. The check-in procedure is a bit rough though. No reception desk at the entrance
