Double Tree Hilton - York excellent. Location fab everything within n walking distance, room plenty space for twin room and grand breakfast. Staff helpful - definitely recommend

Absolutely beautiful hotel breakfast plenty of bed was to die for didn't want to get out of it downside is parking Absolutely shambles when staff was parking there and you had to go elsewhere to park which was either 22 pound or 30 pound depending which car park disabled car disnt even have badges and wasn't checked either other than that fabulous night we for free cans of water and free cookies on reception

Perfect hotel for a stay in York, fantastic location next to Monk Gate and right next to the Minister. Room was clean, spacious and shower was excellent with great water pressure and lovely toiletries. We didn’t go for the breakfast, which I am sure is delicious (certainly looked very tasty!) but you’re also in the midst of lots of cafes and restaurants if you’d rather get up and out to sample York’s delights.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night for a leisure trip to York. The location was perfect. The hotel was lovely, bed comfortable, good size room with air conditioning. The bathroom was large. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were courteous and helpful. Highly recommend.

Booked an accessible double room. The front door is accessible via street with two steps there. The bathroom is decent however the shower drain took forever to drain, making a massive puddle for hours

No air conditioning as broken but room was let out despite the property knowing ( as a fan was put in the room but no proper ventilation) was an extremely hot night

Hotel is in a great location. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and had everything we required. The only downsides were the carpet was very stained and where the room was positioned, not in the main hotel, entered from outside, which would be good if you had a pet but it meant there was a lot of passing noise from other guests.

Poor stay 1st room broken window blind then moved room and broken air conditioning unit below so.very noisy all night
