Best Hotels in Ypsilanti

I was a bit conflicted about what rating to give because every staff member I met at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. Service from the front desk to bar to breakfast was all excellent. The location is great and the lake and golf courser are beautiful - would love to see it when it is a lot warmer! Parts of the hotel are updated but other areas still need to be updated. The elevators definitely need refreshing. I stayed in two different rooms (checked out and ended up staying another night unexpectedly) and had two different experiences. The first night, I was on the 6th floor with a lake view - room was updated and very clean. The second night, I was put on the 8th floor (concierge floor) and was unimpressed. It started out with an old microwave sitting in the middle of the office desk - pretty sure it didn't normally belong there. After I moved it to a different location, I noticed there was coffee spilled all over the desk that hadn't been cleaned. I probably should have changed rooms at this point, but didn't. Bed and bathroom were clean, except there was no shampoo and the soap dish hadn't been cleaned. Carpet was new but looked like it had not been vacuumed. The room had one of those connecting doors to the adjacent rooms and it must have been very thin - the guy next door wasn't loud but I could easily hear his TV and phone calls. Concierge lounge was open for snacks and drinks. Gym was large and nice equipment but very cold.

Needed to book six rooms for our team, and Nader Judeh was extremely helpful and flexible. What was the extra mile is he was there to introduce himself and make sure the experience was perfect, by offering tips for other services in the future and also knowing what other teams were there to help with dinner areas. Check in was seamless and easy and Mark at the front desk was very helpful. In addition, I made a mishap and cancelled a room by oversight and Mark did everything he could to assist me during a ”sold out” hotel. He went above and beyond to find me another room and get it cleaned quickly. Along with being very kind during my stressful moment. When others step up to provide great customer service it is memorable. The rooms were clean, and very nice as I was able to compare five rooms. Great Hotel!!

Absolutely love the staff here! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is great. The attendant does a good job at switching out utensils frequently and is always wiping tables and chairs down. The pool is big and always warm! The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. There was a guy who was even shampooing the carpets in the hallway! That is not something you see every day. It got me thinking about how dirty other hotel hallway carpets are. Love the fall decorations out front. Great touch! I definitely will stay here whenever I am in Ann Arbor and will be recommending to all my friends and family as well!

i walked in and there was a line of like 20 people and the dude with the dreads was goin crazy had everyone in and out in like 10 minutes. he deserves a raise. He was cutting up and filling up the schedule within no time. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!

Omar who works in the bar/restaurant area goes above and beyond his duty to satisfy the customers that are staying at the hotel. He is nice and has a kind personality. Very good asset to the hotel. Can't wait to see him next year when I will be here again.

Hotel is good, (*๓ ́╰╯`๓) The only thing that can be included if breakfast is perfect! The surrounding traffic is quite convenient and the parking lot is big enough. The hotel to the restaurant can walk from the indoor passage, it is also very convenient!

We have stayed at other hotels when visiting our student and this is one of the best. Great location, great rooms. We were only there for a night but it did not disappoint. We walked to amazing restaurants and shopping. The curtains are actually blackout and the bed is so comfortable you will want to know what mattress it is. When you walk up the view over Ann Arbor is great.

Great hotel and clean with good amenities. Will be back. This is a good motel with a good price. Also very close to many shops and stores. Price is very reasonable as well. A new restaurant is being built next to the motel.
